I’ve only visited a couple of times, but I like the store, and the staff was friendly. They have specialty food items, some in bulk, including refrigerated items. I wanted raw pepitas, and they were refrigerated.

There are medicinal items- I needed psyllium husks for recipes, and I found them in the medicine area, and also in a bulk bag, for a better price.

It’s good to just go in & look around to see which hard-to-find items you might need. They have bulk herbs/spices of unusual varieties, too. They also have gluten-free items, mixes, etc.

It’s a great way to avoid Amazon, since they have many items you won’t find anywhere else...

I think the bulk herbs are old and not regularly changed out. The tea that I made with what I bought is very weak. I’m just going to buy bulk online next time to ensure I’m getting herbs that are fresh. Quite disappointing especially because this is the only store in town. I also think it’s weird you cant even weigh your own herbs. Never been to a store that won’t let you do it. I would have known the herbs were old if I could have put it in the bag myself. Would have saved me...
