Food - The food was good, but not great. The pho was okay, but the broth’s flavor profile was too simple and lacking of some flavor depth you’d expect in a good pho. The meats were good, not chewy or lacking in flavor. The pork spring rolls were outstanding and the peanut sauce they came with was flavorful and came in a generous portion. Overall the food was a 6.5/10 and would be massively improved with some more attention to the ingredients of the broth, as it was lacking ginger, star anise, cloves and cinnamon flavor.
Service - the service here was great, waitress was very kind and attentive. Food came out quickly and my glass was never empty. Overall an 8/10 for service, I had no complaints.
Atmosphere - The atmosphere was very friendly and warm, but not what I expected from a pho restaurant. They had quiet music playing in the background and a tv displaying various locations in and Vietnam. It was well decorated for the fall season/halloween. Overall the atmosphere was a 6/10 and generally pleasant.
Price - For a bowl of pho, a plate of pork spring rolls, and a boba tea, I payed ~$32. 2/10 for value.
Overall, I’d give this restaurant a 6.25/10. The food was about average, the service was great, and the atmosphere was decent and inviting. The pricing was disappointing and far too high for...
Read moreWe were really excited to hear that they finally opened on February 13, and decided to give them a try today February 27. Shaquala was our waitress tonight and she was attentive and very helpful. The only issues that we saw tonight was they still don’t have a full menu 14 days after opening, you have to pay per bottle for something to drink including water, they will not give you ice water as they say they only have it in a bottle for $1.50, and that the only free refills would be on sweet tea and lemonade. We don’t drink sodas while we eat just normally water so we were a little taken back by this policy of there’s. The Pho was delicious, and very flavorful, and the portion size @ $14.90 a bowl was perfect. When we walked in the restaurant was empty with about 4-5 servers standing behind the counter. I’m not sure if the restaurant is going for an all take out vibe and trying dine in as well, but I think they need to make some changes in there drink offerings and get there menu situated as is is odd there isn’t a full menu available. I think we will return once they have a full menu available to try...
Read moreI finally got to try the new restaurant Pho House. I’m so excited there is a restaurant close to west I live as Pho is one of my favorite meals. Jeff was my server and he was very energetic and super attentive. The service was great. The restaurant was pretty full when we arrived with many tables full. I have been to many different Pho restaurants all over in different states. Not sure about some of the previous reviews but everything that is traditionally offered with Pho I received on my visit. The broth was flavorful to me. Portions were good. I got the Big House Pho and it had a lot of meat. Prices were the same as I have experienced elsewhere. Yes they have tap water which is what we got. Cilantro and scallions came inside of the Pho and all of the mint, beans sprouts , jalapeño lime were on the side as I have experienced before. I got the Vietnamese coffee which I normally get everywhere I go and it was good as well. I took a dessert home I haven’t tried before I’ll upload a photo of that later. I am definitely going back again. I enjoyed everything...
