My family has eaten here for years, always satisfied. It's our favorite go-to place. As a refrigeration technician, I personally see 1st hand how clean or dirty a restaurant is, and I've been in most restaurants in middle Tennessee. From Murfreesboro to clarksville, Pancho Villa is conveniently 7 mins from my home in Goodlettsville & they are my customer. I, my wife, and my 7 kids know the owners who are also some of the most humble, personable, friendly, courteous individuals I've ever known. Unlike several of the other restaurants in the area, you rarely see employees leave or quit.
There has been local competition in this small town that has used some really dirty and inside political tactics with their connections in Davidson countys governing bodys-
(Not the city of Goodlettsville's officials they frequently dine in here as well)
to try and turn over business to their, in my experienced opinion, less favorable & hard find locations. High employee turnover, so slower service to me, their customer, and someone you normally leave waiting or be rude too. My whole family including brothers and parents sat down early Friday at one location I use to service, and didn't grt single drink to wash down the pound of chips i ended eating instead of dinner because I was no longer hungry for having to apologize to my family.
The first person to receive a meal was 1 hour, and 10 minutes after giving their order and their spouse was last at 1 hour and 50 mins in. Now, this was before covid, no shortage of employees, and a call ahead to schedule a large party.
The food was good and always had been, but after this I asked around and it was a common problem, that some places were just understaffed and due to the stress level it caused, the few employees they had when questioned about time, in return was defensive and rude. When I spoke with the owners who also operated the store at their convenience, basically said thats the price you pay for good food. There's only so many things you can do to a plate of food to make it worth all this and you won't find in Goodlettsville at any location and in my opinion somewhat humble opinion, I've only found one in the world I'd take bad service for and it was a seafood kitchen in Suwanee, Georgia and its closed now after covid but Pappadeaux Seafood in Lawrenceville, GA is real close.
Whomever reads this, you don't know me or what I'm like but I'm just an average guy who had serviced all of nashville and surrounding area's going on 27 years now for either my own business of 12 years or while working with some of largest names in nashville. Pancho Villa is hands down, one of my top 5 restaurants to eat at and not just because I know them, tou could say I'm biased but I think you would be to in my shoes. And that's why I told just one of my experiences. Tou should always shop because service can change and opinion varies, but my review of Pancho sits a little higher than 10 because they have never let me down, they have been the underdog of my community when Salvador took it over several years ago to become a great place and clean atmosphere. The only kind of issue I've had here and has nothing to do with the food or this owner, is that when the building was built, for whatever reason, they made the restrooms a little smaller & I feel like this causes cleaning to be needed more often & I've requested it twice for my kid with no problems & quick response so no big deal to me.

He's forever humble and one of the nicest, Try it out for yourself and leave a real review. Tell them the Tinch family sent you, and they may ask you where your reserved seat is. Tell them Brian Tinch gave good reviews, and you want to give one yourself, but either way, your food won't take over an hour to hit the table hot.
These other locations, they need all the business they can get, so please Please try them out and give them the same true honest review. At one time before...
Read moreGoing into the restaurant first was great we were seated at the table drink orders came fast and after that it all went downhill!! At first we had three tables put together for sitting for eight people we had two more people to join us instead of adding another table to us they set us at the same table So it was 10 people at three tables for eight yes a little crowded especially after all the food came they did not offer us another table we tried to get another one nobody ever listen to us!!! One of the people at the tables spilled their glass of water instead of trying to help us get it up they bring us one small hand towel that was already wet and a few napkins it was all over the tables it was in the floor and they done nothing to help us to clean it up!!! The waiter that we had was great at the beginning and about halfway through us being there not so much but everybody felt like they still need to tip him good he probably made $60-$80 in tips from us!! Hope the next time if we do go back there that the service and everything else in general will be better I doubt it but you can...
Read moreit was a Saturday afternoon about 2 pm. food came out fast. not really piping hot though. waiter was fine. polite young gentleman. the food left much to be desired. it wasn't bad at all but- me and my wife were looking for somewhere REALLY authentic that has lots of flavor. there is no special flavor, special recipe, "house sauce" etc. that this place uses. so it is pretty bland/generic. the "spicy chicken chimichanga" was in no way-at all- spicy. it literally had no spice or flavor at all really. so for the people who like it kinda bland you may like it. the chunky beef chimichanga was the same. no special authentic sauce or anything-pretty bland. the other odd thing is that it is literally the smallest chimichanga i have ever had served at a restaurant. smaller that even a drive-through mexican joint. and it had a different texture than any chimichanga we've ever had. so overall-it wasnt bad. we were in no way disgusted or anything. it was okay. would we go back? no. we want something unique/original/authentic-and a...
