We made reservations at the Quality Inn in Goodlettsville, TN after viewing the pictures of the rooms and property on their website and reading the reviews by other customers. When we spoke with the customer service rep, he informed us that if we paid the entire fee upfront that he could give us a cheaper rate that would be nonrefundable. Since the pictures looked great and the reviews were good, we decided to take the deal. A week later, when we arrived at the hotel, it was nothing like the hotel pictured online. It didn't stop there. The rooms were trashy. Water stains on the ceiling, the ceiling was falling apart, the frig did not work, the bathroom fan had not been dusted for months, old mold stains were found behind the bathroom door, the tub was not a jetted tub, it was a tub from the 70's, the air conditioner was leaking water onto the carpet and the house cleaning staff left sopping wet towels onto top of the air conditioner. When we reported this to the hotel management and asked for another room, ask they could say was that they were sorry and that they didn't have any other rooms available. In addition to this, we were never informed that some of the guests lived there permanently. At night, there was so much noise, we couldn't get any sleep. We were traveling with 2 elderly relatives in their 80's and one of which just had hip surgery and a heart attack a couple of months before our trip. They both didn't feel safe at the hotel. We ended up leaving after a couple of days. We never got refunded for the days we didn't stay. When we returned home, we contacted our bank to get reimbursed for the awful experience. Our bank was not very helpful. What Quality Inn did is called the BAIT & CATCH. They posted fraudulent pictures of the hotel. Trapped us with a cheaper nonrefundable rate, then when you get to the hotel, you didn't get what you paid for. DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL OR AT ANY QUALITY INN OR CHOICE HOTEL AFFILIATION. THEY WILL...

Read moreI was deeply disappointing due to multiple serious issues — including a violation of my privacy, unresolved health-related concerns, and unacceptable customer service.
Privacy Violation by Housekeeping: When housekeeping knocked on our door, I responded, “Come back.” Despite this clear instruction, the housekeeper proceeded to open the door and announced “housekeeping.” This was a complete invasion of my privacy and a serious violation of guest protocol. My boyfriend had to step in and say hey! The man then close the door himself after hearing another males voices. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable and disrespected. Health Risk – Room Smelled of Smoke: Upon entering the room, I immediately informed a staff member at the front desk that the room smelled of smoke. As someone with asthma, this was not only unpleasant — it was a health risk. Instead of offering a room change, the staff told me the issue would be “fixed in the morning,” which was unacceptable. No guest should have to wait overnight in a room that could affect their breathing or overall health. Broken Amenities & Poor Response: We also reported that the TV was not working and that the ice machine was out of service. In response, we were given two frozen cups of ice — which felt more insulting than helpful. This is not the level of service expected from any reputable hotel. Improper Charges: We were charged for the night even though the audit had already rolled over to the next day. Given the combination of a privacy violation, health hazard, and unresolved issues, I believe a full refund for that night is absolutely warranted.
The quality of this stay was far below acceptable standards, and I urge your management team to address these concerns immediately. I am requesting a full refund for the night in question and a formal apology for the treatment we received.
