I am a regular Red roof Inn customer but after my stay last night I will no longer be a customer. My experience was horrible from the moment I checked in to the moment I was forcibly kicked out. I booked a hotel room straight from the red roof inn website after 12 am Sunday July 22. I checked in around 2.30 am. When my boyfriend and I arrived, the teller, whom name I did not get, first said she didn't not see my reservation, I had to actually pull up my receipt for her and then she magically found it in the system. Next, she tried to charge me for an amount I did not agree to and was not shown when I paid on the website. Once again I had to refer to the receipt. The teller claimed it was fixed but when checking my bank statement I still ended up being charged more than I was shown on the initial reservation. Lastly The agent then tells us check out it is at 12pm Sunday, even though I just checked in 2.22am Sunday morning, which is not even a full day. my receipt says different. It says my check out date is Monday 23rd. She had already been giving us a lot of trouble so we figured we'd just stay tonight and talk out the check out date with the agent in the morning, hoping it would be easier. but unfortunately it was not. So the next morning comes, we talk with the agent at the front desk,Jessica Bugiada. We explained that we spent our last on this room and our check out date on my receipt shows Monday 23rd, not Sunday 22nd, 12 pm, she was extremely rude, she cussed at us, yelled racist slurs and threaten to call the police if we did not leave. I let her know I was contacting corporate and she said she didn't care. she did not try to offer help. she was extremely rude and I felt we were discriminated against by both employees. She ended up calling the police on us and we were...
Read moreUPDATE: I have to change my rating to one star because of the unprofessional and shiesty stuff that the hotel owner or it was probably the lady at the desk that acted so fake or mad because we used points to pay for our stay at times like I'm not supposed to at all an was getting an attitude about it an the way how you all handled your business and not being professional about it and not being clear when we checked-in instead waited til we were more than a few months in and forced me and my wife into even more of a rock in a hared place with no wiggle room what so ever, it threw off my Psychology & Business Admin classes and not to mention my job if I did not have such a understanding and down to earth boss I probably wouldn't even have my job, but you all could probably care less about others and their situation, what they've been through, still going through or what kind of day, week, or month they've been through or what's on their or going through their mind. If you all treat your Loyal Members like this and treat this way I would hate to see how you all treat your friends & loved ones., I truly did not appreciate the hospitality at all and I just might go to corporate about how you all handled the situation and let them know how and why they lost the most Loyal and Dedicated Member for I don't know how long an who they can thank because of it. I will not be back and I will tell my family and friends to not even give them any kind of business because they do NOT appreciate their MEMBERS...
Read moreDriving from NC to TN I decided to get a hotel in Nashville. I was on a budget, so the red roof inn looked nice and I knew it was just going to be for a night and I am so glad it was just that--for a night. Upon stepping in the room there was a very unusual and odd smell that only dissipated by a little bit once I turned on the air conditioning. After checking out the bathroom I noticed that there were stains on the floor, in the tub, behind the door, and around the toilet. Parts of the floors in the bathroom and around the sink area outside the toilet and tub area were raised up and others were sunk in. I checked around the bed area and parts of the floors felt uneven and the bed felt like it needed a cleaning and scrubbing as well. I was so glad that I only had to be there for one night as I did not get the best sleep with the bed feeling so unclean and uncomfortable. It was nice that there was a refrigerator, but it needed a cleaning as well. Also, the toiletries that they had available were lacking in quality--barely any lather in the soap.
The one highlight of the room was the television that had tons of channels, including HBO ans several ESPN channels. I just wish the effort that was put in to having so many channels was put into fixing the floors, cleaning the bathroom, and upgrading the room. This will be my first and last time staying at the red roof inn chain--I was not impressed and was super uncomfortable--keeping going and drive on and find...
