I have been going to this Starbucks for months on a regular basis and the service has been quick and everyone is usually very friendly. Today it was a very different story. Cars were wrapped around the building and the line was moving very slowly. I patiently waited for my mobile order for over 25 minutes in the drive thru. When I got to the window I asked for a couple of my drinks to be remade because one was watered down and the other no longer hot after 25-30 minutes of waiting. The barista said my drink was hot and I said it’s not to my liking and he argued with me and called me a liar. I was shocked. I go to Starbucks all the time and have never had an encounter with such a rude worker. I was so upset I asked to talk to the manager. I don’t think customers deserve to be called liars after waiting in a drive-through for 25 minutes plus by some smart mouth kid who thinks he knows everything . The kid giving me all the attitude said he was the manager and closed the window on me when I tried to tell him how unprofessional he was acting. His name tag said Meghann ( he said his name was Baylor??) I’m guessing he was just a shift manager if he was one at all. I don’t think he deserves to be a manager due to his lack of skills handling customers and a drive thru line in a timely manner. I’ve never seen him there before and I hope I never see him again! Read moreThis is the 3rd time at this location that I have switched pickup method upon pulling into parking lot, which I never thought would be any kind of issue. I’ve either selected drive-through and it is very long so I decide to walk in for it, or I have selected in store and the drive-through is very short, so I jump in the drive-through line instead. Each time, the barista has withheld my order for +5-10 minutes when twice now I have clearly seen it sitting there and received a notification in app that my order is ready for pickup. I always make a point to mention that my mobile order pick up method is opposite of what I am doing. When I walk in, I state each time what my pick up method was originally so they can find it in the appropriate location. This morning I decided to walk inside rather than drive thru and saw my completed order sitting by the drive thru ready and no one taking the time to hand it to me. Read moreI come to this Starbucks all the time, almost always in the drive thru and am consistently impressed by the fantastic energy of their employees. Today went above and beyond though! I ran in because the line was long and I had an appointment to get to (not their fault it was long- a hot bar was down). They offered me a drink carrier and I turned it down thinking one lunch box and two drinks was no sweat. The curb had other ideas and I lost my lunch box. I called it a loss, laughing about it with the person who had held the door for me, and ran to my car anyway after picking up the box (not the food- sorry Starbucks crew). Before I got to my car, an employee was running out with a replacement box! Was totally my fault and the replacement was such an unexpected and appreciated surprise. Thanks for once more helping this tired mom get through the day and always putting a smile on my face...
