Krystal — Restaurant in Goodlettsville

Edit 7/15/22- Tried to get some food to go tonight and was met with 7 cars in the drive thru NOT moving. Walked inside to order to find all 6-7 employees standing around the to go register staring at it. After someone noticed I was standing there, I was told "sorry, front counter is closed". Mind you, the front door was open and no sign saying that was the case, pretty frustrating. We'd already gone to Wendy's to get chili as Krystal discontinued it, and left with the same car in line with TWELVE behind it still trying to order. (15 mins later)

It's a shame, but this place either needs new management or to close. It's literally worthless as it stands. I'll never go again, not to this location. And maybe not to Krystal in general, every experience in the past year has been negative. RIP Krystal. 🪦

Original review Really sad state of being that Krystal has fallen into. I've been eating here for my entire life, and it's gotten to the point where we can't really even order anymore. Always super short staffed, and corporate is discontinuing chili, corn pups, and chicken strips... I get the pups and chicken, but CHILI?! The last time I came, the poor guy working the kitchen couldn't stop coughing enough to take my order. When I asked if he was ok, he said "I'm really sorry sir, it's just... The smoke in here." When I pulled up, it was like they had a fire inside. Everything was covered in a hazy smoke, and the few employees were doing their best to keep working. 😟 The employees do their best, but sadly it's just not sustainable anymore. Every trip is met with "it'll be 15-20 mins for burgers. I have a feeling they'll not be able to last much longer, which sucks. There's really no comparison between Krystal and White Castle, Krystal has ALWAYS been better. I sent corporate an email explaining my concerns 2 weeks...

I have been the night manager for the last 2 weeks I can not get in touch with our district manager our GM is nasty to customers nasty to employees I have had multiple customers come threw and tell me or complain. First off, I'm trying to figure out how this place is even still in business. The smell is HORRIBLE when you walk in and the longer we were in there the worst the odor got. THIS PLACE NEEDS CLEANED! A place of business that serves food, should not have looked or SMELLED the way it did.There was old food splatters on the wall behind the counter in the "food prep" area, trash in various places, I seen only one person wearing gloves in that whole place, no hair nets were worn that I could see, cross contamination was a HUGE deal in this place. I ACTUALLY couldn't believe it but I seen one of the, I'm assuming one of the managers because she was carrying a cash drawer, wearing flip flops with socks. She had her 3 young kids at work waiting in the lobby area and I actually couldn't believe it but i saw her bring out 2 of the most disgusting stuffed animals, very dirty, and passed through the food area WITH these stuffed toys, mind you, ALSO wearing flip flops..I'm here on vacation and I was just not impressed.
