Never got a chance to have dinner. Walked in at 9 pm the lady asked how many. I said three. She looked around then walked away. Never acknowledged me. I looked at the kid that was standing there and raised my arms a bit to say what was going on and he just shook his head in disbelief. Then another girl came up and asked how many and I again said three. She said it would be a 10 to 15 minute wait. I said ok but then asked if The bar was available as I seen a booth and a large table available. She said yes and cleaned it off for us. However the other lady, later identified herself as a manager told her it wasn’t available. While all of this was going on another party of three walked in. They asked to be placed on the list. While we were waiting two other servers came up to the podium talking. While she was talking to one of them she kept looking at us. They left and we are still waiting. Next thing I know they are asking for the party that had come in well after us and walked them to a table. I then asked the lady, in the red polo and is a manager why we were not seated she said they were on the list. I said ok but so were we and we have been standing here. I asked so do you have a call ahead list is that why she said no we do not. I again asked then how were they get seated before us. No answer from manager. I frequent this location for lunch with my best friend and have always had the best experience. However I will never go back!!!!!! 14 years going to this location. When asked her name she got writhing 3 feet of me, told me her name and said whatever. I had invited my granddaughter over and was excited to take her here. We ended up going across the street to macayos, with the nicest server. To add insult to this experience they text me to tell me my table was ready after I left. Really. You already sat a party of three that came in after me then they send a text saying since I didn’t show up it was canceled. Worst, humiliating experience. We are seniors that was just excited to see our granddaughter and take her to dinner. That sure didn’t happen and will not recommend this location ever again! So sad because there is such nice wonderful servers at this location. I will follow up with a formal...
Read moreLast night I got placed an order through DoorDash. When my order came, less than half arrived. I spoke to the delivery driver and she stated that the person working there confirmed the entire order was there. I called Chili’s and that’s where the issue started. I spoke to someone first (he would not give me his name)…and stated I would need to call DoorDash and there was nothing they could do. When I requested to speak to a manager (because I wanted my money back and I wanted them to confirm what was wrong with the order), a female with a heavy accent got on the phone. I asked for her name and she refused to give it to me. I tried explaining I was missing food and the woman told me “the order was complete”. I was trying to tell her what I received and she continued to scream over me saying “I’m telling you something” and told me to “shut up” prior to hanging up the phone on me. I called the restaurant back requesting to speak to the manager and the person answering the phone (who was the 1st person I spoke to) stated there was no manager to talk to. I explained I knew there was (because fun fact, I worked at a chili’s a while ago in California and a manager is ALWAYS on shift). I said I would wait on hold and was told “well you are gonna wait for a long time”. I asked for the manager’s name and the employee would not give it to me. I waited on hold for a few minutes before ANOTHER associate came on asking if I had been helped. I stated I was waiting for a manager and was put back on hold. Eventually, someone named Jeff came on and attempted to help. I told Jeff about my experience and he said he “would look into it”. The kicker is, the female that claimed to be a manager IS NOT ONE! She lied on the phone so I would not speak to management! She should be fired. I am beyond frustrated (not with Jeff) but with the other associates and their lack of customer service skills. I have NEVER experienced restaurant service like this. This location has THE WORST TOGO SERVICE EVER. STAY AWAY and go to a different place where the associates aren’t allowed to disrespect guests. All because I wanted money back for food I NEVER...
Read moreI am writing to express my profound disappointment with my recent dining experience at Chili’s. The service was abysmal, with the server taking an excessive amount of time to take our drink orders. Once we received our drinks, we discovered that the lemonade was of poor quality and prompted us to reorder a different beverage.
The appetizer, chipotle mozzarella sticks, arrived cold and tasted unpleasant. We requested a replacement for the lemonade, and when the fries were returned, they came out cold as ice. The remade fries were unsalted. The chicken tenders were rubbery, chewy, dry, and cold, leading me to suspect that they had been cooked, left out, and reheated in a deep fryer.
The waitress, who appeared indifferent to our concerns, made only two attempts to attend to our needs. Despite our efforts to engage in conversation, our requests for assistance were consistently disregarded.
Our total bill for the meal was $80.00, and we did not request the opportunity to speak with a manager. We paid for our own meal, including a tip, despite the subpar service.
The only edible item we consumed was a burger, which was not particularly impressive. We left the remaining food on the table and departed the restaurant in search of a more satisfactory dining experience.
I was particularly disheartened by the staff’s apparent perception of us as lower-class individuals based on our tattoos and beards. This attitude was evident in the way the waitress seemed more interested in serving the frat boys seated next to us.
We have visited Chili’s on several occasions and have consistently been greeted with friendly service from the staff. However, on this particular occasion, our experience was marred by the poor service and the discriminatory behavior of the waitress.
Incidentally, we were charged full price for items not eaten or consumed, and we informed our server that I was a veteran and inquired about the military service discount that was...
