I had been anticipating a visit to Jimmy John's Sandwiches since I had never been and I love trying new places. Unfortunately, my visit started terribly and went downhill from there. As I walked in, I went directly to the cashier, since it was the most obvious place to get started. A counter clerk was manning the cashier station, but he didn't even recognize me standing directly in front of him. After being ignored for what seemed like forever, I began to wonder if I had to order at the preparation station, so I began walking toward the preparers when a person, who I hadn't noticed behind me, moved to where I had been patiently waiting. He was served immediately. I walked back and my order was taken without so much as an apology. I filled my drink and took a seat. Soon a young lady was calling for number seven. Since the number on my receipt was 108, I sat patiently. She was literally five footsteps away from me, but she began to give me dirty looks as she repeated her call for number seven. I looked directly at her questioningly and she motioned that it was my order. I got up and asked if it was mine and she said, "Well, didn't you order a number seven?" I had no idea because I ordered a ham sandwich, not a number seven. I had ordered chips, which were missing, so I asked about my chips. She looked at me as if I was a moron and said, "They're under the counter by the cashier." OK... thanks for telling me. Aside from the lousy service, the sandwich was disappointing. The bread was tasteless, the ham was scarce, the cheese was visible, but untastable. The shredded lettuce comprised about 70% of the sandwich. They had no jalapenos, but offered cherry peppers instead... no thank you. Basically, it was a vanilla lettuce sandwich. The final nail on the coffin was an infestation of flies. I felt like I was going to fly away due to all my fly flapping. A small bag of chips cost me $1.50. I like to end on a positive note, so I'll compliment their sodas. The Cherry Coke was delicious and satisfying. I do not recommend Jimmy...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUntil my experience today JJ has been my favorite sandwich shop. I frequent this location at least 4 times per week and always get the same thing #9 No Mayo No Tomato. I am a huge fan of the oil & vinegar and when I order I ask for extra as well as 2 sides of it in the small plastic cups as I like to dip my sandwich in it with each bite. Today when I ordered my sandwich I was informed by the new GM that he wasnāt allowed to give me sides of oil & vinegar and that it was against the rules and the cameras are watching him. It is completely unprofessional to tell a customer they canāt have a side of sauce. He offered me a side of mayo, which I said I donāt like mayo thatās why thereās no mayo on the sandwich. The only sauce I like from JJ is the oil & vinegar. I explained to him I go there all the time and have never had any problem simply getting some oil & vinegar at which point another employee recognized me and told him that I come in and always get a side of sauce and then all I heard from the GM was excuses of how itās against the rules and that I can get mayo or mustard but not a side of oil & vinegar and he was sorry for ruining my day, my day wasnāt ruined but I simply didnāt enjoy my sandwich which is a shame. He did offer to put extra on the sandwich but I like to dip it in the sauce. If what he said is true, then a company has ārulesā in place that blatantly go against customer service and professionalism. If Iām going to spend $8.77 on a sandwich and canāt get a side of sauce to dip it in and have to hear a bunch of excuses in the process then this is a business thatās lost my business. It is a fact that JJ has exceptional quality sandwiches but in this industry if you canāt even display minor customer service or interest in the customer then you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis location understands the importance of customer service! I've never had a problem before, but today my sandwich was wrong. It came standard (french bread, mayo, tomato and lettuce) when I had customized it to be on sliced wheat, no mayo or tomato and add cucumber, onion & pickle. When I checked the order in the app, I discovered it hadn't saved any of my customization. Normally I would just eat what I received, but I cannot eat mayo. When I called, they were very helpful and understanding. They sent a new sandwich right away and were very apologetic, even though it wasn't really their fault. Both drivers were quick and friendly. A+ customer service! I will make sure to double check my order before checking out...
