My wife and I tolerate this location because of its location and the fact that it has a play place. The floors are typically filthy, the tables are never wiped down (we usually clean them ourselves), and the fountain area looks as if you could contract some sort of disease if your skin was to contact any of the surfaces.
Now don't get me wrong, I am all for equal opportunity employment but you still need to hire people capable of doing the job required. The majority of the cashiers are slow and can't seem to take a simple order without asking for help. When we get our food, there is usually something wrong. We have had burgers with stale buns, patties that taste like they've been sitting way too long and chicken nuggets that seem to be made of rubber. Half the time, the fountain drinks seem to be running out if syrup or the ratios need to be reset.
Now to get to my experience from today...
My daughter loves french fries. This morning she was very behaved while we were dropping her brothers off at school so I decided to reward her. I pulled into the drive through and ordered myself some breakfast and a small fry for her. I was completely understanding of the fact that it would take a few more minutes being as how it was the morning and they would need to make them fresh. They asked me to pull into a reserved spot to wait for my order. I sat in that reserved spot for 20 MINUTES!!! I had finally had enough and went and asked for my money back. Although they were willing to comply, I would expect that the manager would come and apologize HERSELF. Instead I was told that I would get a free meal if I came in and said that I spoke with Melissa... like anyone is just going to take my word for it, especially when she never came to the window and ACTUALLY spoke to me. I was told that the employee brought my order to the wrong car... soooooo why in the hell did he not try to get the right car when he replaced the other customer's order? Why did he not verify the order with the other customer? Why couldn't the manager have taken 30 seconds to apologize to my face? Why does this McDonald's seem incapable of hiring competent employees or providing halfway decent customer service?
Now it's not ALL bad... the people who hand you the food at the drive through seem to be very capable of proving adequate...
Read moreI only eat at McDonald's for one thing and one thing only. That's the breakfast. I love a sausage me muffin with eggs. This morning I arrived at the restaurant and ordered two sausage McMuffins and a large coffee for breakfast. I want them to the first window after making my order and the young lady that came out was very helpful and very pleasant. I came to the second window and I was told could I wait around the corner until the food is done. This was kind of befundling being that there was only myself and another car in the line totally. But I acquiesce thinking that it should be only a moment. After 6:00 to 7 minutes another car came and parked in front of me at around the 12 minute mark I finally saw a representative from McDonald's come out and walk towards our cars and to my bewilderment the gentleman walked in front of my car and handed three bags to the minivan in front of me. I had no clue what was going on so I got the person's attention and said Hey I was here before that vehicle can you tell me why my two McMuffins haven't been brought out. That is when the young man turns around and said oh they already gave your food to someone else and I said well here's my receipt I never received any of these items could you please bring your manager out. He said whatever and turns around and went back inside I waited another 5 minutes before another young lady came out the one that helped me through the drive-thru and handed me my food. I explained to her that I requested to have a manager to speak to and she said that she was told by the manager to just come out and give me the food and tell me they didn't have time to speak with me I think the young lady and said never mind don't worry about it you can keep the food and I just drove off. Read moreThis was a pretty lousy trip to McD's. I'm a bit of a McD's connoisseur, so I know the product and the service well.
I haven't been to this location much and I won't be back again any time soon.
They forgot part of my order, gave me a cup with no game piece on it, and refused to make my sandwich the way every other McD's will make it. The woman taking my order was very unpleasant and kept telling me the total after each item, even though I wasn't done ordering. As if she wanted me to shut up and leave her alone. My parfait was about 15% empty when I got it. Again, I know what a McD's parfait should look like cuz I get them several times a week and this ain't it. They're usually full to the top with yogurt.
Finally, the restroom had actual poop on the floor. I get it, they can't help that and it's not their fault that someone did that, but it sorta summed up my experience here. I told the manager and she sent someone to address it and this person got her phone out and took pics of the restroom instead of just cleaning it up. She left and I asked her if it was cleaned up. She said yes, it was ready to be used. Well, it wasn't. All she did was pick the poop up off the floor and left the restroom totally gross. Toilet bowl had dried feces in it, trash can overfull and sink/mirror dirty. And this is AFTER someone had just finished servicing the restroom.
All of this could've been forgiven if I had gotten even ONE smile from an employee. But, despite interacting with 2 managers face to face and 2 other employees, I got literally ZERO smiles.
An overall...
