I wish I could give this place a negative 5 stars. Horrible service. We live in Granbury and love to support our local restaurants. However we will eat grass before ever setting foot in this place again. The staff at the Granbury location give Chili’s a BAD name.
I’d like to give an update and explain my negative 5 star rating. This night is our second time coming here since the covid stuff. Which in all due respect we live here and have came in a few other times and it’s always the same. I know lots of establishments/restaurants took on a new way of doing business. However we just haven’t had this type of service from anywhere but here and at this point restaurants are allowed 75% We come in and get seated momentarily. A party of (4)Two adults two 6yr old. We order food for the kids. Two cheese pizzas combos.wife and I order an appetizer which was a dip with toppings that appeared on the menu. Pointed at the picture showing the clear and present images in color by the way. We received a chili cheese type microwaved something in a bowel. At this point still no napkins forks etc or straws to go with the kids drinks/food. Server finally came back ordered the straws/napkins/ketchup(I ordered these items after we had our food) and made her aware of the mistake on her behalf with the dip. She says ok I’m sorry we try giving back the dip because we didn’t eat it and were told “it’s ok you can just keep it” Before this all happened while waiting for the dinner noticed kids didn’t have colors. I don’t go into places looking for this stuff the kids reminded me “hey no colors?” I look around and see colors on the floor and laying on tables so it’s a good indication colors are available. I get up to speak with my waitress and standing next to her looking on the screen at the location nearest the restrooms is another waitress.. I ask “Are colors available with the kids menu?” “Yes” she replies “they’re in a bucket in the front when you first walk in” at which point they both look directly back at the screens as if I bothered them. Be advised the restaurant is at 50% maybe. At this point my wife and I decide we’re not ordering any food to just let the kids eat and leave. Final bill was given. We were charged the microwaved chili dip. I paid my bill and tipped my waitress. I’ve had better service at a taco stand here in Granbury. Granbury Chili’s you should really Re-evaluate your...
Read moreWe had group of 14, so called ahead to make a reservation. They squeezed the chairs in so close that everyone was touching - so a bit awkward and uncomfortably but they did setup enough seats. There was a little empty table beside us that we eventually added to ours when an extra person showed up and there was absolutely no way she'd have fit - so we all got an extra inch or so. Asked three separate times for lemon/sweetener for some people's unsweet tea before it came. Order came out for most of the party with just a side or two missing. The other 6 of us had to reorder when everyone else got their food delivered because our order was apparently lost. Manager stopped by and offered complimentary desserts. Drink refills had to be asked for a couple times before it got done. 4 of the reordered meals came out - but my burger was red in the middle! Sent it back without wanting a replacement, and my husband canceled his (yet to arrive) order that contained shrimp & chicken because he didn't want to chance food poisoning. Last order finally came out, and when the waitress asked for our complimentary dessert order, she said we could "pick 2 or 3" desserts. I asked why only 2 or 3 of us get dessert when it was 6 of us who didnt get our food, and she said "They're like $8 a piece." I'm really not sure how to even take that. I wasn't eating there anyway after accidentally biting into raw meat, but did the manager want 2-3 people per slice of cheesecake, or for us to pick which 2-3 of us got one? They ended up only giving us one slice of cheesecake anyway (nobody else wanted anything at this point.) I guess at least they didn't charge for the raw burger or the shrimp/chicken meal that was canceled. Check took forever to come as well. We were there and hour and a half before I finally got to leave and...
Read moreI will never be returning to this chili's again. My boyfriend and I were sat and received our drinks with no problem. We ordered a triple dipper (as an entree), a cup of chili, and a chicken sandwich. Everything we ordered was supposed to come out at once. Instead, my cup of chili arrived before anything else. This wasn't a big deal. I noticed that their were no onions neither on the side or in the chili. I waited a few minutes for our waiter to come back by to be able to tell him. He proceeded to tell me that was wrong, the chili doesn't come with onions. I order this dish quite often so I knew this was a lie. I then pulled out the menu and showed him where onions are listed on the menu to be served with the chili. He went on to tell us he was new to working at chili's. He was almost argumentative. When he realized he was incorrect, he brought me a side of cold sauteed onions and walked off. I waited for someone to walk by, the manager then walks by and I tell her that I wanted the purple onions that are always served with the chili. From this point forward our server was blatantly rude. However our problems didn't stop there. When the food arrived the big mouth burgers on the triple dipper had onions on them after we asked for no onions. When our server returned to ask how the food came out I informed him that they came out with onions on them but said it was fine. Instead of offering to correct the mistake, he walked away from the table without saying a single word. Through out our entire meal any time we told him thank you, he wouldn't respond much less say you're welcome. It was very disrespectful. I was afraid to ask for anything else because I wouldn't put it passed this guy to spit in our food he was so obviously...
