Joe Black's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Grand Forks

I only get an hour to eat lunch, they failed to follow through on my order of Eight wings. They NEVER checked in to see if I needed anything or to refill the Coke sitting at the edge of the table. After I flagged them down to stop at our table of 3. (65 minutes later) the waiter was rude and never apologized for missing the order and walked back to the bar. He then came back and asked me what I ordered. I said i'm over it. I understand orders get missed but the process by which out table was ignored made me most upset as I glanced back down at the never refilled glass of melting ice, 80 minutes had now passed. This establishment is the worst in town. They over-serve the alcoholics of the night to the point of them throwing up inside and out of the bar. I have to walk over busted bottles and puddles of puke and cigarettes every day on my way to work. Next time you are in there for lunch, glance down at the carpet. You may see the remnants of an irresponsible college student being encouraged by the worst establishment...

Honestly, listen up! Joe Black's is the best bar that Grand Forks has to offer (Half Bros. and Rhombus Brewery aren't considered in this... Well because they are breweries) Yes, don't get me wrong the GFA (Grand Forks Area) has great bars , but I'm judging by service not "the cool place to be." My friend had a birthday and is a regular at this bar. They brought him out his favorite shot, a Wonder Woman if you're wondering, and they taped 2 matches on the drink, lit it up for birthday candles, and joined in on the happy birthday song. Never had an issue getting a drink here even if they are the busiest bar in town. They ARE the busiest bar in town because of their customer service and that is what it is folks. Joe's is a great place. The wait staff is fantastic and you're never sitting very long without a refreshing drink. This I feel is due to the fact that the wait staff Joe's shares all tips. Sharing tips means any one of the wait staff will check on you when they are free instead of waiting for the specific staff person assigned to your table. One of the wait staff checks on you often. If the person who took your order gets busy but your food is ready a different person from the wait staff brings your food out as soon as it's ready. This avoids any cold food being served.
