Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Grand Forks

Good food and the variety is awesome. They keep the menu fresh. Need to work on their website, wasn't working again. UPDATE: July 8th, food still tasty, portions seem smaller than in the past. The spicy Korean was sweet and no heat, but flavorable. I'd like to see something from Central or South America on their menu as the world favorites are lacking. Service was quick and friendly. JAN 13TH, the Japanese pan noodles and Korean BBQ was tasty. I tried the new Chicken Parmesan and it needed flavor help. So little sauce the noodles dried out. I hit it with some salt free seasoning and some Peri Peri Sauce to wake it up. The cook needs to taste it and the expediter needed to fix it. Update: April 26th, the new menu is really good. The Cajun fettuccine was just right, lots of flavor and a good heat level. The pulled pork mac was fantastic, can't go wrong with pork and mac. I like being able to modify the meal to fit my tastes. Sadly, first try and probably the last. The portions were a joke even though I've read bout people reviewing that they had generous portions (different chefs maybe) We were given a choice of small or regular bowls (which were pretty big bowls) so my bf and I decided to go for small as it IS a pretty big bowl for a small. When the food was served, we were pretty shocked, felt like it was a bait and switch, the noodles weren't even half bowl full. Nothing like what was shown in their menu images.

Spicy korean beef noodles were pretty good tbh, but for that price and the portion that was given, not a good deal. It makes their takeout boxes seem ridiculous because with that portion given, what's left to take home? LOL Not even being dramatic that the noodles can be finished in 3 - 4 mouthfuls. Oh well, at least we tried it out, but with other better and cheaper asian foods around, I don't see myself...

I've been to noodles a few times and each time was an adventure. The first time I walked up to the door and the sign said closed at 5, but I got there at 4:45ish PM and the doors were locked. The second time I went in for a lunch and I was waiting in line and I had no problem with it. Then out of nowhere I hear someone freaking out and cussing in the kitchen and towards us the customers. I saw it was a person with a blue shirt different from others so it had to be the manager. All the manager did was yell at the workers and I felt bad for them. The last time I went over I ordered a meal and it was the wrong meal, so I went up and asked for what I ordered. Then the manager looked me in the eye and kept giving me excuses. Bad service and bad food. Overall this place is a 2/10 the workers seem great, but the manager could use some...
