Beautiful place. Absolutely used to adore the ones in Grand Rapids, to have somewhere safe to eat. I was extremely disappointed when I came to Grand Havens building though. I needed to talk to someone who ACTUALLY knows the menu. And what ingredients are used. I find it very disrespected when your staff gives me a smart as smirk when I'm asking about vegan cheese when I just just ordered it off of the allergy vegan section. IM ALLERGIC TO DAIRY AND NUTS AND AVACADO Was still served with vegan cheese. I didn't get to eat and was not refunded. Nobody in your building could tell me what is in vegan cheese. USUALLY MADE FROM NUTS. VERY ILLEGAL TO SAY ITS ALLERGY SAFE WITHOUT INGREDIENTS OFFERED. TO HAVE THE RESPONSE "WELL I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYONE HAVE A REACTION TO IT YET" - your staff, the young/taller ladies, brown hair and nose peircing.... completely disrespectful. EXCUSE ME!? I'm still never going to risk something threatening my life. I don't think your staff knows what responsibility or respect meanings in work. AND the table was rather disgusting.

Anna's house is incredible. This was my first time visiting the Grand Haven location and I must say, I couldn't have had a better experience. My friend and I arrived a couple minutes before they opened, but as soon as an employee saw us she rushed over to open the door, and quickly welcomed us in. My first impression of the restaurant was that it was very clean and well organized, it is beautifully decorated with bright vibrant colors, and we were greeted by the smell of fresh coffee brewing. Our server Kat was also fantastic, very attentive and friendly. It's like she knew what we needed before we did. I ordered their Breakfast Lasagna, and I have to say it was really solid, and quite unique. A magical balance of salt and acid topped with a rich creamy bechamel sauce. I have eaten here a dozen times or more and I haven't anything that wasn't delicious! DEFINITELY stop in and check them out!!!

If you're looking for a great place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, Anna's House is the spot. I've been to two other locations; Holland, one in the Grand Rapids area, and now Grand Haven. The environment is always bright and well lit with natural light with an enjoyable kachiki motif with local flare. The food is always rock solid, with something for everyone, meat eaters and vegetarians alike! The selections are diverse and unique compared to most breakfast joints. Cost +/- $15-$20 per plate. Service in Grand Haven was great and didn't have a long wait at 10 AM on a Sunday morning. Everyone looked active and attentive to their tables. Overall ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and highly recommend for a chain breakfast/brunch joint. Enjoy!!! 2nd Visit Shawna was it server. She was amazing. Words don't do her justice! She was funny, attentive, and exactly who you want for a server. Stop in and ask for her!!!

Was really hoping this place would live up to the hype especially after staying home for so long..alas on the day we visited it was not to be, at least food wise. Glass less empty though, our waiter was awesome, she at least tempered the averageness of what we ordered as I shelled out close to $70 w/tip for a mediocre breakfast. Kid 1 got the chicken and waffles, and while he had good things to say about the chicken most of the waffle and scrambled eggs just sat there. Kid 2 ordered the breakfast burrito, took a few bites and was done, said all she tasted were green peppers, it looked like the eggs, peppers and onions were all mixed in advance. At this point in a longer than typical review you're probably judging kids 1&2 as hyper privileged food elitists..but not so! They are both 'little pits' that can and will devour anything in terms of good food..we rarely leave a restaurant with a to go bag as they can usually polish off whatever they order, just not today. The Mrs. got an omelette with sausage gravy on it but thought the dish overall was pretty bland, especially the gravy, the omlette also had chunks of cutup sausage links in it which was unsettling for some reason. I got the corned beef and hash which was really..different? Instead of shredded hash browns Anna's takes what appear to be cut up french fries and mixes those with the corned beef. And it's not even the main part of the dish..my plate was mostly covered by two eggs and toast with the hash tucked into a small corner of the plate as if it were an accompanyment / side item. Hoping it was an off day but when everything one orders misses the mark you...

We are locals and loved that another breakfast place was opening. We’ve given chance after chance after chance. The servers are all sweet and fo their best in my opinion. The managers don’t ever interact with customers and don’t come over when something is wrong. The following are things that have happened on different trips to Anna’s house. Again, we’ve been here a lot and keep trying to give them the benefit but enough is enough. Asked for gluten free items and got served regular. This is the biggest issue I have. They pride themselves on having a separate allergy kitchen but then serve us (my mom specifically) food that got her very sick!!!! On another trip there was hair in our food. Not just one hair - multiple hairs. Another trip there were egg shells in my dads eggs. On another trip the waitress was excited to share that the manager was on kitchen duty so there would not be any food mix ups. Well our pancakes came out so burnt we couldn’t cut them. They were rock hard- when we asked for new ones they said oh it’s cause the staff is overwhelmed with too many orders. Either way - if you burn the food remake it. On another trip I bought a gift card and when I tried to use it they said you can’t buy a gift card and use the gift card on the same day, lol! The management - like usual was confused and unaware on how to fix things.

On each of these trips we paid full price for our food and never once got an apology from management. I don’t know how they are going to keep this up, sure vacationers may still come but us locals are sick of it. We want good quality...

A tale of a 5 star experience and my 1 star experience all within the same week. Let me say it's all about service and food prepared as ordered. On my first occasion Stacy - our waitress - greeted us and provided 5 star service. She took my order of a big breakfast and coffee. The food was well prepared and hot. Stacy returned to our table several times to ensure all was well. In fact, I recommend Stacy train all the waiters and waitresses. First visit 5 star excellent. Today was just the opposite. I will not name my waitress, but can say she had other distractions than providing good service. The waitress was prompt to provide a drink and take my order. Fifteen minutes later a back-kitchen staff brought my big breakfast. The waitress didn't check back to ensure everthing was satisfactory until the manager came to my table after getting his attention. My order was missing an egg and bacon, butter and the hash browns were dry and cold (although I did not ask for replacement). The waitress stopped by to clear the table and went to get my bill. This took about 10 minutes to complete. All this led to a 1 star rating. It all comes down to great versus poor service and the cook in the kitchen. Hopefully the consistency improves over time as the restaurant has been open two weeks. The overall rating is 3 stars but ask for Stacy if you want 5...
