Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Grand Haven

Food is excellent quality. Would have been happier if I could get what I order, though. Front person took order okay, I thought, but although I stressed that I wanted no mayo and no ceaser sauce added, she did not tell me that their store had already added sauce to the chicken, unlike the store in allendale, mi where they have a DIFFERENT menu! So I thought I was going to receive a lettuce wrap with plain chicken and requested veggies. I received instead a ceasar chicken wrap. When I checked it and saw all the sauce, I thought they made it wrong. They made it again but I had to wait an additional 10 minutes. I don't know why it was not done immediately since we had already been in a wait line for over 15 min. It still had sauce. Plus it was not a lettuce wrap, but was a bread wrap. Although I had requested an unwhich to begin with, her register would not allow her the option to do what I wanted. This happened at another store also. They have to enter ceasar wrap in order to get chicken. Checking the slip later, I see Ceasar wrap, not lettuce wrap. I am frustrated with JJ in general because it seems like a battle in every store with the exception of allendale to get the register to receive my order. Also when I am stressing no mayo and no sauce, order takers should inform me that the sauce is already in it. We will probably try again in the future, but not looking forward to the process. I ordered the sandwich with no tomatos, and still got them. No big deal, I'll just pick them off. However, the tomotoes look like this (ref pic). I would assume because the sandwich was sitting for a while. This is after waiting 1 hour for delivery. I really wish I hadn't tipped at all when making the order. I would advise everyone save the tip for when they show up, and base your generosity on how long it took. Freaky Fast? I really like JJ, but have never had a delivery take less than an hour from this location. Someday my kids wont take naps, and I won't have to deal...

I'm not sure what part of "I want a slim number 6 (veggie that had extra toppings you don't normally get) with turkey meat" the guy at the counter didn't understand, but what I ended up with was sorely missing the point.

I got a sandwich that wasn't a slim and was: bread, cheese, and turkey meat. There was no sauce and no veggies of any kind.

Who in their right mind wants to eat a dry sandwich with no veggies, cold?

If you end up ordering here, only stick to what is on the board because any additional customization the workers are incapable of...
