NOT TRADITIONAL BBQ. Ordered a pulled chicken sandwich along with the pick two for ribs and brisket. You can see in the pic that the ribs were jerky holding on for dear life to the bone. More seasoning than meat was on them. The meat was bone dry and tough to chew like jerky. The brisket they brought me was pulled pork, they tried to tell me it was "pulled brisket", never heard of that. Then they brought out a slice of brisket. It was a yellow slab of meat that was clearly NOT done on the barbecue. You ever seen yellow brisket ever? I have not. It was also extremely dry, I didn't finish it. 14$ for an 8oz margarita was diabolical. 35$ for jerky ribs and sauteed brisket was a personal attack. They did have good sides of Mac and cheese and the brussel sprouts were at least passable. They didn't even have a selection of BBQ sauces, just their homemade one and then their Carolina sauce that was really basically just watery mustard. Meaghan was an amazing server though. She deserves better. Avoid this place at all costs. It's clearly a tourist trap and such a bad one that it's going to give GH a bad rep.

We went here on vacation. My husband got the smoked margarita and I got the strawberry mint margarita. We both loved our drinks, especially the signature sweet and spicy rims. For food we did the bundle and got ribs, pork butt, brisket and baked beans. Honestly everything was pretty average and I wouldn’t have enjoyed it if we didn’t add barbecue sauce to it. All of the items were a little dry. We loved the idea of it all but just think they need some kinks ironed out. It would be nice to see the food with more unique touches like a signature sauce or more smoked items and veggie sides. There also only two options for kids meals. We would be open to giving them another shot next year though because the service was great and it seems like it could grow into something cool!

We were on vacation traveling through on our way home to Iowa. We like to eat local when possible. This restaurant was so good! We met the owner who was fantastic and very interesting to talk to. He has a real passion for creating unique and flavorful dishes. I got the personal sized nachos and they were delish and way more than I could eat! My husband got a the bbq plate sausage with potato salad. He was stuffed and said it was amazing. Our friends got the sweet potato fries and while I’m not a fan of those normally, these were so good. They had a maple, cinnamon, brown sugar seasoning. We would definitely go back if we lived closer. Please support this locally owned business.

We went in for our anniversary for a quick appetizer and a few drinks they must have been busy but the restaurant was empty and the tables where all dirty also totally fine it happens then an employee told us to sit anywhere we picked a high top that had 2 cups on it so it was an easy clean job. Well the bartender them walks up with a bunch of attitude like we were super jerks for sitting there she made our drinks dropped them off didn't even say a word to us. Then the guy (server/manger) not quite sure took our order of nachos. Food comes out super bland cold and boring. We try to get another drink finally got the guys attention the bartender wasn't having any of it...got my margarita we eat the food never being checked on again had to ask after a while to get the check. Then they proceeded to pass our table many times without acknowledging us finally the sweet girl that literally just clocked in cashed us out. I like to try to support new businesses but it was so awful. I have been a bartender for 20 years and was just so...
