Gelato Junction is a nice place to get a little gelato in hot weather. Their gelato is good. Their smoothies are a little bit on the syrupy side but decent (I recommend the mango one). They recently added bubble tea to their menu. I LOVE a good bubble tea and couldn't pass up the chance to try theirs. They were out of black milk tea the day I went so I tried a Thai iced bubble tea. The drink was pretty watery with hints of the iced tea used in Thai iced tea but no cream (I added some heavy cream at home and it turned out pretty good). The tapioca pearls were not chewy and didn't have any flavor to them. All in all, I know it is difficult to start a bubble tea trend in an area with few people interested in that sort of thing. The tapioca is hard to keep chewy if no one buys it regularly and a good milk tea is really hard to make (trust me, I know). I'd recommend passing on the bubble tea in favor of a good gelato cup for now. To Gelato Junction, don't give up! You made me (an Asian, a minority in this city) really happy to see another business trying to sell bubble tea. Thank you. :)

This is the best place to get Gelato, but they would be better offering no food than what they are currently serving. The menu looks promising but everything is served cold and lacks effort. We were excited about the jackfruit options... and we shouldn't have been. The jackfruit nachos were just plain nachos drenched in neon orange fake cheese and overly sauced jackfruit. Inedible. The jackfruit sandwich was a cheap bun and, again, way overly sauced jackfruit... and nothing else. And cold. As other reviewers have said: skip anything BBQ. The owners are a delight. The other staff not so much. The menu could be so much better and was so disappointing. Gelato though? Amazing. Lattes are also good and CBD is an option.

Came in and decided to try dinner here as they had BBQ. Service was ok. Nobody appeared exactly happy… on to food. 1. Loaded Mac ‘n Cheese with pulled pork, sauce on side. Large portion, but arrived barely warm. Mac was mushy but flavorful and pulled pork was pretty good. 2. Street tacos. Chicken was super dry. Pork was great! Cute place, meh BBQ.

This place used to be my favorite ice cream shop in town. I don't know what's changed (aside from management), but the Gelato doesn't taste as good as it used to, and it gave me a painful headache today.

I am also sad they are not currently making the sweet corn Gelato. When I last pressed as to why they weren't making it, I was met with, and I quote, "It's too intimidating to make."

Service was fine, but not exceptional.

The atmosphere is just about the same as when I have been before. Quiet.

Overall, it is sad to see what feels like a decline in the quality of this...
