If I could give this place no stars I would. Absolutely disgusting. First night we ordered chicken quesadilla and beef sliders. Quesadilla had no flavor, sliders were dry with no flavor and hard over cooked cheese. After eating that night I became extremely sick puking but felt fine after puking for hours. Next day got breakfast. Had waffles they were basic hotel mini waffles but good they forgot the bacon I ordered. No flavored coffee creamer. Tried dinner here a second time.. ordered the spinach dip with chips as app. Watched cook WITH NO GLOVES use his finger to hold a steak while cutting, then reach in a bucket grab out handfuls of chips put them on our plate with dip and then the cook ate a chip off our plate and wiped his bare hands on a nasty shirt he was wearing. The waitress then brought the plate he ate off to our table. We politely explained we saw him use his bare hands to plate our food and eat off our plate and that we would not be eating there. Waitress stormed off went to kitchen and screamed at cooks that her table was walking off. Cook stared us down as we left. Was a horrible disgusting experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone who does not want...
Read moreI’m new to the area and decided to stop in with my son before we caught a late movie. The gentleman working, Derrick, was playing the role of 3 staff members (I get it, times are tough with staffing) but greeted us with a smile, friendly conversation, and went above and beyond with our experience, paying special attention to my kiddo. He had multiple people walking in for drinks at the bar, someone ordering a coffee to go at 8pm, a party of 6 behind us, and us there - he found the time to chat with all of us, ask if we wanted the soccer game turned up, answered several questions from all of us, explained details about the menu, and was positive and laughing the entire time. Being newbies to this city, we were unsure where to even begin when searching for a restaurant tonight, but like my son said - “this place is really good and we need to come here again” and we definitely will! Thank you for a wonderful first experience in...
Read moreThe Pearl Street Grill, located just inside Holiday Inn, is a very impressive dining experience. Being able to watch the older gentleman chef prepare my breakfast was a treat in itself. While the breakfast menu is simple, if does not lack in savory. I ordered a three egg omelette made with the ingredients I selected (spinach included, of course) and when I asked the waitress to forego the potatoes, she generously offered a fruit bowl instead. The hostess seating me honored the request of a patron's young daughter by taking her time to make sure the little girl was provided just the right picture to color at her table. This is service! ...and with a smile from every employee, I will return. Thank you, Pearl Street Grill! Oh...and the orange slices arranged on the plate was an added...
