I have been to this location 3 times since they opened. I was a frequent diner during lunch hours at the Woodland mall location, which was a childhood favorite. My first visit was during lunch hour on their first day open. Things went pretty smoothly, but they were quite busy as expected. The food was good and the staff were busy. I had to clean off our table, but most everything went well.
My second trip, I took my wife and two of my daughters to lunch. With littles, I decided to order ahead so the food would be ready when we got there and we would not have to wait. We found a clean table, ordered drinks, and had a good time. There was someone from the outside there, a male, trying to help the restaurant team fix issues. He was giving them pointers on how to handle orders and get food out. I'm guessing this is why things went so smoothly this visit, as they were busier than the last time.
My third and most recent visit was during their second week of business. I ordered food at 12:30pm, and was warned of a 30 minute wait. No problem! Found a seat at a table, that we had to clean off ourselves. Manager, who appears to be the same lady from Mod Pizza in the same location, is extremely loud and looks out of her depth. She has been present all three visits, and looks to be struggling quite a bit. Kitchen staff are lazing about today, and the young lady at the register is actively encouraging customers to seek food elsewhere because of the wait. Once we were seated, it was plainly obvious that the other diners around us were QUITE upset. A woman from one party began shouting that she had been waiting over an hour, after being told there was a 20 minute wait. A man from a different party joined in, and expressed his frustrations as well. These two tables, and the party that ordered before us were given free Olga coupons, and snackers along with an apology from the staff. We asked if our food was coming after 40 minutes, and the staff ignored us initially. They then gave us the response of "I don't know" and "I have no clue." Our food arrived after 1 hour and 20 minutes. My Olga and soup were hot, but my snackers were cold. We were never apologized to for the delay, cold food, etc. or offered compensation like other guests. But, as the saying goes, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
I am quite happy to have Olgas back in town by my work, but, I would suggest management and the team get some training, and folks maybe give them some time to work...
Read moreHave supported this Olga’s franchise since it was in Woodland Mall! Was very excited to see a new location, have visited this location several times and not once have they gotten our order correct.……. food has been incorrect and cold & Fries are always old!!! the bread is often cold and hard like it’s been sitting on the grill for a while , and the white chicken chili extremely spicy had a conversation with the OK don’t know if she’s the general manager made a comment about the spices said things would get fixed their brand new yada yada yada ! But this last time I visited, I requested a salad with no olives and guess what the salad was loaded with olives and my grilled sesame chicken was drenched in sauce. It was so Extremely overloaded with juice that it ripped the bread made it so so soggy and even saturated the wrap. I did make a phone call that same day sent an email and the manager from that store called me told me she was gonna refund me just needed my information. I sent the information. My card never got credited. She also told me she was going to send me some certificates to my email to come back and give them another chance that never happened either. It’s just really sad that you go and try to support and not at a cheap price and you have to deal with this kind of...
Read moreI had some hopes coming here as I've never been before. I got a chicken shawarma wrap with a side of mac and cheese and a drink. The wrap was extremely disappointing. I added lettuce, tomato, and onion since it didn't come with them for some reason. I'm glad I did too as I imagine the wrap would've been much worse without them. The chicken was bland, mostly tasting like pepper, and the sauce was so overpowering I couldn't taste much of anything else the lettuce and onion added a nice crunch but without them it would've been a very soft and monotone sandwich. The sauce claimed to be garlic Olgasauce but tasted like it was just honey mustard. The macaroni, much like the wrap, was overwhelmingly saucey. It was far too much cheese and had no flavors other than cheese, if that's what you like more power to you but I was hoping for something more. Finally I was shocked to learn that they don't even sell baklava, this alone explains my entire experience, a Greek restaurant that doesn't sell baklava is not one that I have any interest in visiting. The service was good. I will not...
