Julie's Uptown Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Grants Pass

The owner is cheap and won't turn on the air-conditioning during heat peak hours. Went to the bathroom and it was literally hotter than the suana was sweating as soon as I step in. My brother use the other restroom and he came out sweating on the other side of the building. I ordered the cheeseburger I don't know if they ran out of cheese but my burger did not have any cheese on it. The bartender didn't know how to serve a beer a lot of foam on the beer. The prices were definitely good. Honestly thought this place was going to be a lot better all-around but it was alright oh yeah and everything on the TV was from the spectrum channel the sports were old. Arrived in Grants Pass Oregon tired from driving up from Lakeport, CA starving to death… checked into the Motel 6 with my pooch. My dog Charlie and I, walked the 2 blocks up to Julie‘s Uptown Bar and Grill to get an order to go. Cute funky place , very nice staff—-large parking lot if you don’t walk . They have an outdoor patio ( with ashtrays btw!) which was empty on Memorial Day weekend Saturday. 5:00 pm except for Charlie and me to grab a beer while I waited. I give everyone a fair shake when it comes to trying new restaurants. There was nothing about my experience here that was anything above sub par. Customer service seemingly huffed about no tip on the receipt I signed even though they literally did nothing but walk and order to the kitchen, and the food was so disappointing. From being able to watch them cook my food and feed themselves as well to my burger tasting dried out and like it was cooked in a dirty grill. Got a chef salad and bit into egg shells three times.
