$14.75 NOT well spent and definitely not worth my cheat day. The service and food today were terrible. I walked in at 11 am and the ladies were already closing up shop and stacking the tables. They looked annoyed that I was there (with my son on a special little date) so I asked when they closed, to make sure I wasnât imposing. The lady said they closed at 1:00pm. So I proceeded to order. I asked the girl at the counter if they have discounts for buying more donuts and she said no, and that they would still be charged at the individual price. Therefore, I continued to just order 6 donuts and a milk. That was $14.75. The donuts were STALE from the inside out and difficult to chew. (I am 30 with a healthy set of chompers.) Before I left, I asked how much a dozen donuts would be and she said $18.50⊠that would have been quite the discount! I only got crumb and sprinkle donuts⊠Also, the music was turned the music off and the ladies were taking out the trash while I was there, so I felt bad throwing anything awayâŠTHEN, as I was leaving, I saw a sign outside that said âBuy 2 donuts, get the third on 1/2 off.â Excuse me? I did NOT even give get that discount when I believe I should have qualified. The girl there isnât new because she was there when I visited months ago. So now I genuinely feel I was charged more than I was supposed to be for what tasted like day-old donuts. AND she gave the lady in front of me a free donut just because. Iâm so frustrated because this was supposed to be a good time with my 5-year-old son. He was super excited to eat a donut and he didnât even finish his because he said it was gross. This is not the experience I remembered having here in the past. I only stopped coming here because Iâve been dieting and losing a ton of weight, but I thought, âwhat the heck, Iâll cheat today and get myself a donut!â Soooooooo not worth it. If Donutland is a ten, Magic...
Read moreStaff was very friendly and nice. Insane prices, ok donuts.
I got 6 donuts for my party, I was shocked when they said it was 19 dollars and change, I did a head snap to see the sign of prices, but was unable to locate any (im sure its posted somewhere), paid and ill be honest by first thought was these better be the best donuts i've had in my life. I dont know if they are deep fried or what, but the exterior is crispy? Which is why some reviews I think say burnt or stale, its a interesting creation of a donut that I personally am not a huge fan of but others clearly love based on comments.
I wouldn't be writing a review or would most likely give it another shot if not for the prices. Im a huge fan of B & Gravy but it was 7.00$ for a small container. I almost got some thinking 6 donuts could be no more than 10 dollars surely. Then I thought no no no, at 7 dollars for a small container they better be perfection, not knowing the donuts were 20$.
Owner or Operator: I would say make sure at these prices every single donut is a master piece and perfection, clearly 4.7 outta 5 stars on 211 reviews means it is. I think at this price point your saying I am the best by far, and your gonna want to make sure that never slips. Clearly Grants Pass has spoken and agreed, I just am not the target audience. Maybe one day ill pop in grab some biscuits and gravy, and rewrite this review and say its the best spot in town, since I am not a fan of your style of donuts, (we threw them away half ate) maybe ill have the b&g and see the quality that I missed on the donuts, due to style of dont, maybe because crispy donuts are not thing I enjoy or expected. If the business was called Crispy donuts, or you had soft and crispy then I would of known what I was buying and changed the experience. I would assume based on the exterior and hardness of the Maple/chocolate frosting...
Read moreEdit: 2 people ordered 3 donuts each. So 6 total. We left with 5 and one of mine ended up in someone else's bag. So one missing and one wrong order. Also the odd looking customer behind the counter pouring his own coffee was unsettling. Luckily Dutch bros was right there. And all this, I was told by the cashier who couldn't handle 2 orders of 3 donuts each. Asking us personal questions about why we're wearing masks like we shouldn't be in there. After the customer poured his coffee behind the counter and left with his dog, she informed me how you start making donuts at midnight. 12pm. So of that's not true you need to tell your cashier, not be rude to customers who've given you business and money, but also tips. So please reframe from replying hurried to paying customers who got stale old donuts at 6:30 am along with a messed up order. Edit:^ after the owner messaged me.
At 6:30 the doughnuts were already that old. 6 and a half hours. I was informed after I bought them the owner comes in at 12 am, cleans up by 6, leaves by 7am. So more than likely any doughnuts anyone gets are half a day old already. Never had I not finished a doughnut.. even those cheap ones from the store. But yeah they tasted so old and one regular round one was actually cold inside which I thought thick was good but not when it's not fully cooked, and old at the same time. So sad I've heard such...
