Wendy's — Restaurant in Grants Pass

If only I could give 0 or negative stars but this Wendy's wouldn't get any higher than the 0 stars. I would definitely reconsider if you plan on stopping at this particular Grant's Pass Wendys. The service was extremely subpar. I'd go as far as saying lazy, lazy, lazy! In fact the Male waiting on us was awkwardly saying that he wants to make himself into an octopus so he could just sit there but be able to use his 8 arms. Said he was going to invent this. Ok?? So uncomfortable this conversation was. We order $6 biggie bags and Bogo $1 Medium Strawberry Frosty's. We were given child size and charged fir the medium when I brought them back to the counter The girl gave me attitude saying "Well I cant take them back!" Then just stood there. I said "I get that but, I want what we paid for" instead of giving me the actual correct medium frosty's she gave me 2 small ones that I guess put together might of added up in ounces to the ones we paid for? I mentioned we purchased Biggie Bags, which includes a drink. So between the 2 of us who are just traveling through 6 cups! Seriously? Just as we were getting ready to leave another couple was doing the same. The man erupted when he found out that we were all locked in and without someone standing at the door to unlock it as people were leaving. He asked to speak to the manager who decided it was okay to smart off to this customer who was upset for very good reason. He was going to be reporting them to the fire marshal thankfully. There was 2 other sets of customers there as well and both sets had problems with the wrong items and were also treated with rude customer service. I will never ever ever return to the Grant's Pass wendy's during our travels. I would say that you should...

It's Wendy's! Good, relatively inexpensive. I am giving it 3 stars... only because of the smell inside. I hope someone in their corporate office (or a/the restaurant manager, who can pass the word up) sees this review. Seems every Wendy's I've been in around here (2 in Medford, 1 in Grants Pass) stinks to high heaven! Forgive me, I say this not in cruelty but only in smell comparison... it smells as I (a former pawn broker) have smelt some homeless people smell. Not all... some.

I have noticed that Grants Pass Fred Meyer's vestibule smells the same. I have always contributed it to transients that frequent both places often (Wendy's and Freddy's). However, one particular smelly day at Freddy's... a manager was in their south vestibule. When I made comment to him about the unfortunate smell, he replied that sadly it is the carpet!!! They are aware of it... want their corporate to authorize a change... and are waiting for long waited approval. But, it is some chemical in the carpet's makeup that creates the smell.

It is my guess, seeing that all three of our local Wendy's have the same carpet (and are in serious need of remodeling)... that it is the carpet that is the culprit!

I'd give it 4 stars for a fast food joint... if it wasn't for this! Food is good for price... staff is always friendly! Restaurant(s)...

Disappointing ☹️. I'm giving 2 stars only because the drive-thru cashier was polite, fast and friendly. I just wanted a Frosty after a long drive home following a 24-hour day on the road. Went way out of my way, drove past twice because the front of the restaurant wasn't lighted and the new sign didn't stand out too well and it's located on a one-way street.

After waiting in the drive-thru behind a 50 year-old "vintage" vehicle without a muffler and whose exhaust contained more unignited gasoline than CO2, I received my disappointingly, large (?) chocolate Frosty served in a plastic soda cup with a lid, spoon & a straw. I don't know about you but I like a Wendy's Frosty because of its soft-serve consistency and I never wait until I can slurp it with a straw to dive into it. But, by the time I got back on the highway, only minutes, it was barely a milkshake. I had to slurp my Frosty 😒..! I don't give long commentary on this stuff but this one stuck in my craw and left, obviously, a less than positive...
