Fuzzy's Taco Shop — Restaurant in Grapevine

UPDATE

This place has really gone down hill. The management has become lax and nonexistent. The orders are constantly wrong, you have to wait to find someone to assist you because the one girl working the register has a line a million miles long. Once there is NO line, low and behold both male managers seem to miraculously appear. Where were they at when there cashier needed help? Busy in the back doing paperwork? Really! The paperwork could wait until the place is closed, not when you have a line out the door. This used to be one of my favorite place to go for a quick bite, but unless the owners do something about the management of this place I will not be giving them my business nor recommending them to ANYONE I know.

The Assistant Manager Lindsey is awesome. Is outgoing, friendly and very personable. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean, the food is great, and the beer and other alcoholic drinks are the cheapest around. It's very laid back atmosphere. They have several TV's which always have different sporting events on them, but they are willing to change it if you request. They have a covered patio where they allow you to bring your dogs. Tuesday's is "Taco Tuesday's" where there Taco's are discounted and it's all day 'Happy Hour". We came in about 9:30pm and this favility closes at 10pm.. we sat on the patio so they could clean and mop the restaurant. It was 9:59 and a white women with brown hair in a pony tail braided came out and took my beer away from me but not the other two men I was currently with, I had presented my ID to the first cashier that we ordered the beers with. I gave up my beer without problem so there would be no fuss.She also mentioned to us that the restaurant was closed, it was only a minute or two before 10 o clock when google says they closed. A couple minutes later I went inside the restaurant to use the restroom she stopped me inside and I explained I was only using the restroom: this young girl expressed extreme annoyance that I came back inside. After wards I go back to my party on the patio and about 10:13 this same person came back out to my party (who was close to leaving) and told us that we needed to leave: because the patio is closed and it was passed the “grace period” keep in mind it was only 12 mins after closing when she came to us the second time. The food tasted as it was supposed to but the real problem was very slow service at the front counter, at the bar waiting for drinks and the kitchen to getting our food. After waiting so long for our drinks I finally went to the kitchen window to ask for service and the cook said that she'd be there in a minute because there was only 3 people on staff and she was the cook, dishwasher and bartender. The other girl at the counter obviously didn't know what she was doing because she had charged us for food that we didn't order. When we took our tray of food to the table and realized a few minutes into eating that we had extra food. I went and asked for a refund because we didn't order the meal. I was told no I couldn't have my money back because I had taken the food out of the serving window. I asked for a manager and was told that there was no manager on duty....*Update, it's been over a week and I sent an email to the GM as was asked in their response below and still haven't heard back.
