I was wheeled to my gate and sat at the bar next to Salt Lick. The cops told me that wasn’t the name of establishment. But this complaint according to the cops they called on me safe QDOBA was the establishment I’m writing about. Two people sat next to me said the bartender was rude. Which I concurred. I tried to price a shot of Remy and she said she didn’t feel comfortable BC I was talking to a patron about how I take Xanax. I just finished talking to my psychiatrist and already had come back here early from the hotel room AA put me in. My Moms in Wichita already. I have another three hours wait and trying to relax. I even tipped her 20% and this patron did too. I said I could have tipped less too and we were enabling her. So she cut me off without telling me how much that Remy shot would be. I didn’t finished the over price beer. OMG, I can’t believe how inhospitable they were.
Then her manager came out and gave me a hard time (as mentioned above). So I just left. I am physically and mentally disabled and I’m tired of people treating less than BC of my disabilities. I already missed my flight yesterday and they put me up in a hotel to make it to my aunt’s funeral. The last sibling of my Dads family and now they are all gone.
I concur with the review below. They even have the audacity to call the cops to on me. Definitely passive aggressive and double teaming me. The cops told me they moved my gate and got someone to cart me to my gate. Of course I tipped for their kindness BC my whole spine from cervical and lumbar is screwd by getting hit by a trash truck by Waste Pro.
Not were they only disrespectful and unprofessional with me in their insubordination. But they were playing it as like a wrestling match where they were double teaming me and I have no partner, so they called the cops trying to get some revenge or get me in trouble because their mindset is still in high school and they don’t know who they’re messing with because I’m going to contact the Better Business Bureau. And I don’t know what it’s called in Texas, but it’ll be probably the Texas agriculture and consumer services because I will not tolerate being demeaned and also adding to my drama continuing on as a first generation Vietnamese refugee. I came into this country on my Mom’s arms fleeing our country before the war ended.
Any PTSD I have is from growing up is in this country and can’t constantly being exploited by people in this country. I have child trauma of how I was treated in elementary school.
I paid my dues and I’m not gonna let anyone push me around and bully me. I did tell that Asian girl that was the bartender that she was a disgrace to the Asian community which is based on her behavior and then she got some manager in cahoots to try to convince me what I did wrong when they are the ones that did wrong I used to write 60 to 70 page perfect papers in grad school about organizational management if they don’t get rid of these girls and put them into some serious training they’re gonna run your business into the ground, Mr.Basam and Ray Odenmickens I came from an entrepreneur family and I have nine siblings, and a lot of them have their own business but the behavior these two women demonstrated was unacceptable.
I also have a new grad and finance, a BA in psychology and an MBA.
I’m from a very respected family and we brought a lot of people to this country that are very successful. And that takes up time for focusing on our own careers and I’m lucky have three degrees.
Considering I don’t have to work I’m going back to school to study forensic psychology, To help control and lower violent crime. These girls make drinks for a living and at the very least make it pleasant for that their patrons because we all know $12 for a pint of beer is highway robbery. And after what I experienced there should be concessions. Please read my Google review and you don’t know what I’m...
Read moreI attempted to patron on 8/25 about 1am. The employee stopped me from ordering to count the register's money to change shifts. He said it would take 5 minutes. It took @ least 30 minutes. When he finished, he decided to hold an extensive conversation (in their language) with the other employee while laughing it up(which made it annoying). I eye him with a head motion to make my food since I had been waiting already awhile. He then reluctantly go do. He touched the tortilla with dirty hands (from counting money) and I asked to have a new one and if he could wash his hands first. He ignored my statement and grabbed gloves instead. The other employee told him to wash his hands and then he complied but said "no this is all we have." I pointed behind him and showed him more tortillas in a plastic bag. He turned, grabbed it and used it. He made it and then failed to wrapped it completely in foil and placed it near the register and used pen. I then had to wait even longer bc the register had not rebooted the one said and the other employee was on the phone with technical support. I had a voucher from AA to eat there since my plane was deplaned @8PM. We had been there all day and my husband and I were exhausted & frustrated as it was, now this. I asked if I could leave the voucher with them along with extra funds they could keep but he declined me. By now the line was long and customers who were waiting wanted to get water with their voucher and leave the extra funds but they refused them also. I waited briefly then i left without the food bc now this was taking to long. I was hungry but felt a peace bc I didn't really trust the cleanliness after this encounter nor did I care for the service. I do not fly often but if I do happen to be in the this airport during these hours and need nourishment, then I will choose to "EAT THE VOUCHER PAPER" than return here! A second option recommendation to AA is to have a better alternative to your paying customer in the early hours...
Read moreIn the first week of December, we had a layover at DFW Airport for a couple of hours. We stepped into Qdoba for lunch. It wasn't very busy. Before getting into the line for placing the order, we waited for the availability of the tables. Few tables were empty but they were waiting to be cleaned. We waited for more than 10 minutes to see if some staff turns up to clean those tables, but no one turned up. I requested the cashier to send someone and she acknowledged, but our wait continued for another 10 minutes. We started getting frustrated. Then, some one came and cleaned the table. Next, I stood in the line, and when my turn came, I request for Veggie Tostada bowl, with everything inside the Tostada. She picked up the Tostada, but started preparing a separate bowl in the To-Go box. I reminded the staff member that this was not how I would want it, and she kind of got irritated that she would have to do it again. She added a small portion of rice (you can compare the portion to a kids meal). I requested for some more rice, but she responded with "That would be extraa !" What ! Extra $$ for some more rice. Next, she moved to veggies. Just 2 pieces of bell pepper and 2 pieces of onion. I was wondering if she was preparing a kids meal, but nope - this was a full fledged veggie bowl. The rice, the veggies, the beans and the toppings - all were to bare minimum. Anything that I asked to be added more - I was told that would be extraa ! And the price too - was not the same as the one outside the airport. We've had Qdoba bowls - numerous times at several different places and for several years - but this was the first disappointing experience. Qdoba Management - if you are reading this - your staff needs to do better at...
