Vino Volo — Restaurant in Grapevine

Nice atmosphere ... great music and comfortable ... However wait staff needed a bit of a bump in my opinion ...

I am NOT one to complain .. actually ever ...

However ... the courteousness was not there ... Nor was the service ...

The lady next to me had to ask for her check as did I ... I sipped the first glass giving them the option to make eye contact yet no one did ... There were two couples at the bar and two couples in open seating .... I had to ask one as they rushed by for a second glass ..... Wine was nice I had a bowl of tomato soup and a nice Puglia .... soup was good ...

When ordered the lady who placed my order was not exceptionally informative ....

I’d suggest a definite look at the staff ...

The one lady corrected the gentleman on the wrong information he gave a guest and he smarted off to her .... Yet I must give him the credit for being the most willing to inform guests of the options on wines and wine tastings .....

As I write this I am currently sitting sipping my second glass ... He did finally come around to all the tables and ask if we were good on everything ...

Hoorah !!! Maybe he is just needing to get in the flow .. ! .. As did the lady I chose to take my order ... They seem to be a little less stressed .. Maybe a shift change ???

Oh as I watch ... he is training someone as well .. There ‘ya go...

Awful experience. Rude service. It took 4 attempts before they brought us a bottle that they actually had on the menu and knew where it was in the store. The bottle they had finally brought us was not our first or second choice, but we were just wanting to get a bottle in a similar price point. It tasted awful. We didn’t even finish one glass. The server was reading the newspaper and I had to ask for the check and then bring my card up to her to get service. Save your money and your time. Not this location is not like the other vino Volos I...

Let’s face it, if you appreciate wine and walk passed this elegant wine bar, it’s imposible to not double-check your upcoming flight boarding time to see if you can squeeze in a tasting… or two! Beautifully crafted wine menu, even some harder to find wines like the upcoming South African wines (Cinsault in today’s case) or an Australian Prosecco (Alpha Box & Dice) with the tinniest bubbles. Flights to try all 3 in a category will leave you feeling like you travelled the world. I am so glad they are back open after the...
