We stopped for a "quick" lunch on Sunday about 1:15 pm 5/20/18. The inside of the restaurant had several spills on the floor and the bathrooms were not clean either. The lobby was packed so we decided to go through the Drive-in to avoid the crowd. Drive thru order attendant was prompt with taking our order and we proceeded to pay and pick our order in what seemed like a normal time frame. At Our arrival at the order window we were passed out large drinks and then told to pull forward. No explanation on what the wait was involving. We comply and pull forward and wait.... And wait...... And wait more. Now we shut off the truck and continue to wait longer. The car that was ahead of us in line and left has now returned to complain about something I assume. Did I mention we continue to wait?
I head inside to spare the poor girl taking orders out the wrath of facing my now steaming angry boyfriend at his window when our food finally arrives. And now I wait, inside the lobby.
One order comes out, which isn't ours and I'm told mines "right there". Continued waiting occurs....
Girl bringing orders out returns and asks about mine.... Shuffling occurs and I'm passed my bag of food. I confirm my order was correct and I exit to my vehicle. No apology for your wait, no explanation on what the hold up entailed. Just a panicked look from the girl who passed me my bag of food.
Open bag of food and begin distributing the sandwiches..... Cold food. Not a hot sandwich like I would expect waiting as long as we did for basic value menu sandwiches. Not even a single napkin which should be included with every to-go order.
Yep, we ordered straight from the menu, no special requests just 5 bacon mcdoubles and a 4 piece nugget.
I don't know if this is the result of poor management, or lack of staff training on customer service. There were certainly enough people behind the counter that the delays that were occuring should not have been. My suspicion is it is poor mgmt as the causative factor because they should have been on top of a delay situation and an obviously unhappy customer who came inside from the drive thru to retrieve their food. Good customer service should have let us know what the delay was caused by and our expected wait....plus apologize.
Good luck entering your busy travel season...hopefully your district manager can get a handle on this store and make it into the smoothly oiled Macdonald's restaurant that busy...
Read moreThere was no one waiting in drive-thru...so I thought it would be fast. I ordered a 10 piece chicken nugget, large fries, and an ice cream cone. I payed, pulled up to 2nd window, the girl gave me this scrawny poorly done ice cream cone and asked me to pull ahead. I said sure, but will you make sure I get salt for the fries to which she answered yes. After waiting at least 8 minutes she brought my order out...no salt of course! Every time I ask for salt at this McDonald's, they do not put it in. I also asked for honey mustard for the chicken nuggets, and when I got home....it was hot mustard! I CAN'T EAT HOT MUSTARD! Why is it people who work at THIS MCDONALDS DON'T CARE OR REALLY WANT TO WORK? You probably make as much as I do at my job I've been at for 10 years and I don't act like that! If you don't care....don't work there! I also had change coming to me a few weeks ago, and the girl asked me if I wanted my change. What kind of question is that? It's my money that I WORK HARD TO EARN...YES I WANT MY CHANGE BACK!!!! Her reply was "most people put their change in the bucket for Ronald McDonald house". As a person who's sister had to use the house while her daughter got treated for kidney cancer, I always contribute money...but that should be my choice, not that employees! It makes me wonder if she pockets that money!!! One more thing...if you notice at other McDonald's Restaurants they grill the buns which adds flavor! I've never gotten a grilled bun in...
Read moreOrdered no salt, extra pickles, extra onions. Got salt, tons of pickles, tons of onions and even cheese I never even ordered or couldn't eat (allergic) on my regular burger I ordered. There was so many pickles and onions that the bun, fries, nuggets, and wrappers were soaked from all the juices. When attempting to open wrappers to try and save the burgers, I was confronted by tons of onions everywhere. So if the cook thought it was funny to destroy someone's ordere it wasn't. I made many attempts to call, no answer, I was already on the highway when I noticed thr disaster, so I called McDonald's 800 customer service. I explained everything and the rep said someone would get back with me. That never happened either. That food was all unable to be eaten and went directly into the trash. Was not looking for a free meal, still not. What needs to be done is to look over quality of the food being put out of this location and possibly more training of staff. I will no longer visit this location and do what I can to encourage others to go to the many other restaurant locations in the immediate area. 10+ years in the area for work 5 days a week and those other restaurants have not let me down. Even staff has left this location and are now working at those other restaurants in the area. I guess this location doesn't care....
