We enjoy our occasional Clark and Lewies outing and are thankful we have this option. The servers are kind and attentive. The food is really good and the portions are decent. I have a gluten sensitivity and, while they are accommodating, I do not recommend for someone who is very sensitive or has Celiac. There are a three minor reasons it doesn't get 5 stars.
First, seating is limited. If you want to have more than 4 people, it is challenging, especially if they are busy. They do have great food, so, expect a wait, especially if you go on the weekend. We have had a couple times we didn't have to wait, but it was early (8ish) during the week.
Second, the low chairs are not the most comfortable. They have arms, rock slightly, and are on wheels. The high-top chairs are fine though. But you don't get a choice when it's busy!
Lastly, (according to my husband), the bathroom situation. Th very small bathrooms are not on the same floor as the restaurant. You must hike up a narrow staircase to get to them, and, (at least in the men's room) there isn't much privacy. If you were to need to use the toilet, you would have to pull a curtain for privacy. After you wash your hands, when you turn around from the sink to walk out, if someone is walking in at the same time, you might get a black eye! He said there is no way a wheelchair could fit into that bathroom. I, personally, have never used the women's restroom.
Overall, we enjoy our dining experiences at Clark and Lewies, and recommend it to...

The server came over, and we asked how much the drinks cost. She replied “I’m not sure” then stared at us. She seemed like she may have been new, so I do not totally blame her for that. I would have expected if she didn’t know, that she would have found out for us.
I ordered, and pointed on the menu to the draft beer. I said I’ll take a coors light draught. She came back to the table with a bottle. I said to her that I had ordered a draft. She replied with “oh we don’t have that in draught” instead of asking me if I wanted a bottle instead.
We had the starter soup, which was labelled as tomato. It was clearly just canned soup.
We had the special which was steak and spaghetti, a bit of a weird combination but let’s try it. We ordered different doneness of steak, but they both came out the same, not the end of the world but it was noticeable. The steak was not terrible, but it needed salt. The spaghetti was slightly Al Dente, but the meat sauce was good. The green beans were also mushy, and canned. The garlic toast was just from a frozen bag, reheated.
The servers never asked us how the food was. In my opinion the menu is overpriced, and not worth the cost.
The best part of this experience was watching the mermaids swimming in the lounge side. They have a large pool with viewing windows to watch them swim. That sort of made the trip...
Read moreI ordered the chicken fried steak dinner. When I got to the restaurant my meal wasn't ready yet which I wasn't expecting it to be period but I asked the waitress was their soup home made because I love homemade creamy tomato soup and she said yes. So I ordered another bowl for lunch tomorrow at work. When I got home and opened up the box. First of all, the toast was floating in the gravy. I took a little taste of the mashed potatoes and everything was so cold. I put it in the microwave to warm it up and mind you. I live about three Minutes from the restaurant. Will my food was in the microwave I? Decide to taste the tomato soup. And let me tell you there is nothing homemade about their soup. There's not one regular whole tomato in it. This is clearly a can. A campbell's tomato soup that I could have opened up and made myself I will never order from this restaurant again. I will never recommend this restaurant again. And when I called in to complain because this was $30, she said that they would give me a credit. But I will never go back there again. So I don't need their credit...
