Dragonfly Dry Goods — Local services in Great Falls

I’d never been in this store before but I brought my daughter here because she wanted to try something new. The store has very cute clothes on display by the windows, which is very enticing and welcoming. But the moment i walked in this establishment i was immediately followed around the store but not in a helpful way more of a creepy way. Everywhere i turned was the same older lady watching me. at first i thought it was just me being paranoid but when i walked to a completely different part of the store from her, boom there she was looking at me,while everyone else was able to shop in peace, the elderly lady followed me around the store. she was so close to me i know she heard the conversations my daughter and i were having. I should have asked her to hold my clothes and be my shopping cart, since she was so concerned about my whereabouts in the store but i didn’t. I mean, if they have problems with theft, an inconspicuous way to watch people without being a creeper,and scaring new customers away with their shenanigans. would be maybe invest in a great security system? Needless to say, I could not purchase anything from this store. I cannot support dragon fly dry goods with my hard earned money no matter how cute their store is. 🥹 This saddens me, I love shopping locally, supporting my community, and keeping my money in great falls. even though they had horrible customer service they did have very beautiful jewelry some locally made, cute decor items...

I loved dragonfly but after today, I won’t be going back. When any friends or family came to town, I would always take them there and today was no different. My sister in law was in town and spent over $350 on baby clothes. My 3 year old daughter and I were in the store with her while she shopped and as we were leaving a woman employee who was not in the store the entire time we were there asked my 3 year old to show her what was in her shopping bag so she could ensure she wasn’t stealing anything. This was after we had already made an $50 purchase. After my daughter opened her bag, the woman looked in it and then went back to the back of the store. I was in such shock about it that I didn’t fully process it until we were out of the store and home. If you suspect my grabby toddler put something she shouldn’t have in her bag, I understand that completely but talk to the parent about it, don’t manipulate my 3 year old into opening their shopping bag for you. It was so gross. Also, because I also know how toddlers are, I had already checked her bag to make sure she wasn’t accidentally taking anything. Talk to the parent,...

Zero stars. I used to love this store. Cute, unique items. I loved to window shop here. I saved up money from my minimum wage job to buy my unborn sons first outfit from this store. As I was window shopping, an associate used the excuse to pry into my sleeping daughters car seat and patted down her blanket. It was very uncomfortable and the associate quickly scurried away never to speak to me again. I felt their eyes on me the entire time. The fact that they used my daughter as a means to check if I was stealing was disgusting and insulting. I never went back, but tried to convince myself it wasn’t a big deal. Working in retail and I would NEVER do this to an individual. I’d also leave a review on Facebook, but the option isn’t allowed. Since we like to assume things, I’ll play along.
