I don't believe I can, in good faith, recommend this restaurant to others. I went because I saw some great mac and cheese options on Google. Turns out it was a promotion that ended a year ago(which is my error and doesn't affect my score).. But otherwise I still must give one star for the current state. I was told the menu was changing so hopefully that will change soon. Anyway, the waitress was not a great first impression.. I was standing by the front door and a good 3 minutes passed before she acknowledged me. And every further interaction just gave me "I'd rather be literally anywhere but here" vibes. Upon browsing the menu I can say this is NOT a one $ restaurant it's perhaps 2-3. Especially for spaghetti with "marinara" (rather than spaghetti sauce) which was once again swimming in a decent sized puddle of water at the bottom. The sauce was best described as "Tomato paste with leftover oregano to make it look pretty and peppercorns to distract you from the taste with spice" Or I assume it was peppercorns. I just suddenly felt my mouth burning without any spicy taste. Also the iced tea they had served my mom appeared to be spoiled. With a distinct sour taste. Aside from inedible spaghetti(with too salty of meatballs) and poor quality tea some pluses were the other staff members, all a bit on the mature age range. As well as the alfredo was pleasurable. Didn't know it tasted so great with cherry tomatos!
If you're already familiar with this restaurant continue to go there. Hopefully it's on its way to improvement. If you're trying something new though perhaps check out some...
Read moreCame in at 10am 8/7/21. Hostess told me it would be a 15-20 minute wait, even though I was alone and didn't care where I sat. I decided to wait and stood there looking at three empty stools at the counter right in front of me as others came in and were also told there would be a 15-20 minute wait. After 5 minutes, the hostess asked if I was okay sitting at the counter. I said yes and sat down. She handed me a menu.
While waiting to order, sever other groups came in to eat. Every single group was told 15-20 minutes, no matter the size of their group or whether they wanted to sit inside or outside. Others walked in wanting to know their status in line. Each was told another 5 minutes.
15 minutes later, I tried to get a server's attention. A young lady asked from 15 feet away if I had been helped yet. I said no. Less than a minute later, another server came to take my order. She was very professional and apologetic. I said I understand. You guys are obviously very busy. She replied it wasn't that bad, explaining that they are sometimes much more busy that when I was there. She continued that it was difficult to work with children, nodding her head towards the hostess. I ordered.
Biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and hash browns came within 12 minutes and was delicious, deserving five stars.
My rating of three stars is because of the hostess. She was polite, but overwhelmed and not giving the customers accurate time frames. Perhaps a better system is needed or she needs...
Read moreMy husband and our 2 boys came in for lunch because we’ve heard such amazing things about Tracy’s. Our server (I don’t remember her name, but she had dark burgundy lipstick, glasses, and blond hair.) didn’t come take our order for 20 minutes after we sat down, she walked past our food THREE times when it was in the window ready to be served (my husband watched her and counted!). We saw her standing around doing literally nothing while our food was in the window. She was obviously avoiding eye contact when my husband tried to flag her down to ask for a refill. Completely unacceptable. I ordered a bowl of soup that she brought out with my meal, typically soup is served before the food arrives. She DID NOT check on us even one time after we received our meal. My son and my husband both needed a drink refill, they never got it. When we finished eating, we waited for the bill for several minutes with our napkins on our plates. She served other tables around us, and didn’t even acknowledge us. My husband had to get up, find her, and tell her we were ready to leave for us to get our bill. To say that I am disgusted with her lack of customer service is a gross understatement. I will add- the food was absolutely delicious. My boys got spaghetti that they devoured and I had a pulled pork sandwich. It was incredible food, but our server made it so that we never want to come back, which is a shame. Hopefully she gets some more training on how to treat...
