Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs — Restaurant in Greeley

I'm driving by and I see the name on the building: Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs. So I wondered, what do they mean by "toasted"? Is it kinda like when my teenage daughter is "studying" in her room? Well, no. In fact, my The Kind (turkey and bacon) sub was toasted, and it was really good. So it's still mysterious to me why "toasted" is in quotes. Anyway, if it was so good, why am I only at 3 stars? Well, read a few other reviews. I bet you'll quickly find some that mention bringing in kids. Now look at the photos I posted. See the one with the "Thank You FOR POT SMOKING" sign? It's down there nice and low where the kids can get a good look at it. And though I'm not against pot - I voted to legalize it - I don't think it's cool to encourage it, especially to impressionable kids. The other nitpick that I have is the "tip first, get served later" model. Sorry - a tip is a reward for excellent service. You do a good job, and I'll tip well -...

We have been to several Cheba Huts including Silverthorne, Ft. Collins and Greeley (8th Ave). All of them were fantastic; great people, good food, excellent and fast service. So, when this one opened up, we were really excited since it is so close to home. Needless to say we have experienced nothing but disappointment. Yes, they are fast, only somewhat friendly, but have gotten our orders wrong more than they have right. We have had to go back several times just to have our orders remade. The order in the system was correct but yet the people making them apparently can't follow instruction. This latest mishap included a white widow with no vegetables, no mushrooms. They added mushrooms. You can't just pick them out either. My G13 i asked without pickle. They added pickle. This happens almost every time! As much as we wanted to be happy that we had this one nearby we would rather drive across town to 8th Ave where they get our orders right 100%...

Hello everyone, Its Food Guy checking out food here and there. Anyone who follows me knows I say how I see it. Well I'm saying it, this place will fill your sandwich needs. I have been here a few times and each time has always been a pleasant experience. Now I can't speak for the people at the bar, but the food and food service is spot on. Tonight was even better than the rest. The staff was very attentive to our order. (Just want to thank the gentleman who took our order. Great service and thank you again for the extra care you gave us 8/1/2025) I know that people say "It's just a sandwich shop" Yeah it is, but it's pretty damn good. So if your in need of a late night fast and friendly sandwich place this is it. I definitely recommend this place.
