Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Greeley

I ordered a 4 piece chicken strip basket and was given 2. No problem, easy mistake. They gave me my other two and i went to sit down. Soon, another couple comes, sits down and is waiting for their food to be brought to the table. The employee comes, and says "here's your 4 piece chicken strip basket sir" and the customer says, "i ordered a 6 piece" to which the employee replies, "sorry, i meant to say 6, there should be 6 there" then walks away. Next thing i know, i see the customer count his chicken and has only 4 strips. He gets his recipet, goes up the the counter and tells them, he paid for a 6 piece but was only given 4. They give him the other two strips and back to the table the customer goes. A few minutes later, the same employee comes and delivers my daughter and I a blizzard and ice cream cone. I thought, wow way to apologize for the mistake. But he sees the confused look on my face and says, "oh, did you not order ice cream" i tell him no i didnt. Then he says "oh, i couldnt find the person they were supposed to go to" and the customer who had the missing chicken strips pipes up and says "uh, i think those are ours" so the employee proceeds to take them from our table and replace them at the table to which they belong. No apology, just a smart ass smirk on his face as he walks away. Boy was this employee lucky he caught both me as well as the other customer on a good day because what an annoyance it was for them to be so disorganized! Food was good, place was clean otherwise. Just went to dairy queen to enjoy the end of my sunday night and i ordered my usual 4 things i get for my family. I said my order and henry repeated it to me like usual and got it all correct i come up to the window pay and get my order. I never check my order because the entire 16 years i have been alive they’ve always gotten my order correct but no not tonight on a beautiful sunday night and when i have to pay. I get home and realize my oreo blizzard looks a bit discolored and i thought it was just possibly melted which it was and it was only a 3 minute drive to my house. I use my spoon and realize that it’s not even a oreo blizzard it’s a nasty cookie dough blizzard like for reals how do you mix up a oreo and cookie dough blizzard. So now it’s almost 9:30 and i didn’t even eat this cookie dough blizzard because it was melted completely after only 3 minutes and had litterally 2 piece of cookie dough like what is going on. If your going to mix up my order at least be generous and give me 3 piece of cookie dough...

The quality of this location has gone down over the years. Seems like a lot of things need to be fixed, but owner is too cheap to fix them. Have heard several customers and employees complain about owner and how all he cares about is the money and not the employees. If it werent for these employees, this place wouldn't exist. I think all fast food staff are underpaid and under appreciated. Most of them still make minimum wage and have worked their butts off at this store for 1+ years. Also I notice that they are forced to park on PRIVATE PROPERTY on the weekends. Thats not okay. Why not just buy the land and make a parking lot out of it. Its not fair for hard working employees to have to park there and risk damaging their cars no matter what way they enter. Also let's talk about how amazing these employees are about getting food out on time compared to other fast food places. And they are very friendly too. I've never had an issue with any staff member.
