I want to like it so bad. Don't do it. Just don't. They don't know how to coordinate a dinner service. The bar service is great but there are two entries and you need to find and engage the host because it's 50/50 whether they will see and seat you on their own. Our dinner took an hour and 45 minutes. We stayed and later wish we had given up like the 4 or 5 other tables we saw just leave. The bottom line is they are easily overwhelmed and my guess is the servers are doing too much prep in the kitchen. When our steak came it was inconsistent. Mine was fine my wife's was way undercooked. My veggies were subbed because they were out which I didn't find out until they brought my food. And then they were lukewarm. It's a nice sports bar. It wants to be upscale. They need a manager who knows what a restaurant needs to run successfully, to make sure the host is looking for and engaging customers, the waitresses are back and forth on the floor, not the kitchen, and the kitchen is doing their job, churning out food per the menu. Until they do that, we regret spending our date night on this disaster.

So…I was that guy that didn’t make reservations weeks ahead of Valentine’s Day. Hahaha I called around a few places locally to take my amazing wife to dinner. Luckily, Meeker’s had a table available for us. We arrived to a very polite and cheerful hostess, she took us directly to our table. It was clearly busy and it took some time for our server to approach our table to help us out. She was very kind, but you could tell she was a bit overwhelmed. We understood and were patient. The hostess came by to help the server and took our drink orders, it seemed like she understood. There was a long wait from order to delivery and they made a mistake that we just lived with not wanting to wait that long again. Our server took our order, it too took some time to get to the table. It was incorrect, but like the drinks, we didn’t want to wait, we were both you hungry. Food was good, really like the chocolate covered strawberry’s. All in all, we had a nice dinner and decent service.

Would not recommend. The online menu is not the same as the dine in menu. The restaurant is part of the Doubletree. Our bad for not checking prior too. The food was bland and the service mediocre. I don’t think staff was prepared to handle the volume of people prior to event. We sat at the bar, the one bartender serving everyone, walk ups, bar seated customers and making drinks for all the tables showed that she was flustered and overwhelmed while doing her best to keep cool. I may have been overly excited to try this place out because I was very disappointed. The menu offered is about a quarter of the options in the photo. I went for the coconut calamari and had to settle for the bland caesar salad. My husband’s burger was no better.

First, the food is very good. Before the meal, we received our appetizers which included corn bread & before our drinks. A little awkward since we didn't realize it until we began having trouble swallowing our food. The drinks came after the appetizers were gone. I had a bison burger cooked medium-medium rare topped with smoked provolone and caramelized onions (delicious). My brother had pulled pork on Mac-n-Cheese. My Sister-in-law had the New York Strip. She asked for it medium well and it came to the table rare and cool inside. She sent it back for a few minutes on the grill. I asked once for some additional ketchup for my fries...it never came, and I finished the fries. We were finished and our plates removed from the table before Sister-in-law's plate came back. At the end of the meal, the server came to our table & took our credit card, with the bill for processing at the register. After everyone went to the car except the payer, he finally had to go the register to inquire about his payment. Oops! There it was, forgotten next to the register. They processed it there, I was given a couple of goody bags, and we left. This was an issue of service. 1. Our server needed to be able to juggle more than one table at a time. 2. The cook should have cooked the strip correctly the first time. 3. Payment should be processed promptly. The food was good. The atmosphere casual and bright. We ate outside sidewalk-side. Staff was friendly. Service training. I gave it a 3 because of the good things mentioned above. Since it was my first time, I'll let some time pass and will...

I dont give many 5 stars, as I feel it takes quite a bit to go over the top to become better than good...but I will say, for a hotel restaurant, Meeker's is a great one!

There was 4 of us for lunch and we were quickly greeted and sat by a friendly hostess/server...waters came quick and drink order was taken...the only issue is they didnt have coffee except for breakfast time...minor issue.

We went on the first day of the new menu...everything sounded really good. Not sure how different the menu was, but the server pointed out a few of the new changes that she liked. We all ordered and the food came quickly! Everything looked great and my friends all enjoyed the meals they had.

I had the club sandwich. It came on like artisanal seeded wheat bread that was nicely toasted...it was a traditional 3 toast sandwich, turkey roasted in house I believe, very thick and juicy, nice crisp bacon, fresh avocado, tomato and lettuce...a traditional club but elevated! It had a side of fries that were warm and crispy.

The dishes my friends had looked good too...one burger, the fish and chips, and a salmon entree. The thing with the fish and chips was it came with minted peas...there was enough peas in the what looked like a cereal bowl that the entire table enjoyed them!

My boyfriends and my meal was in the 10-20/pp range but we only drank water...if you had an entree or drink it would easily get into the 20-30+$/pp range...

Our friends had a coupon which I think was half off an entree when you buy one, so deffinatley keep an eye out for those!

We...

*Update. 05/18/20 Ordered food from DoorDash. We ordered two steak dinners and our steak was absolutely raw. Called and politely let them know and wasn’t offered to make it right. So we just ordered steaks from elsewhere. 10/19 Went for date night on a Thursday. Was seated at 8 and greeted by a server with waters. Fifteen minutes later had another server come to our table and say “You ready to order?”. We had never even been asked for our drink order. We ordered our drinks and sat for another ten minutes. Once our drinks were brought to the table, we ordered our entrees. Ribeye medium rare, and elk green Chilli. We had no one else come to our table until our food was served, again a completely different person. Another ten minutes went by and, our original server brought us our ticket. We planned to have several more cocktails and possibly dessert. Instead we paid our tab and, left very little tip. The one redeeming quality being the food which was good. The steak, which was ordered medium rare, was more a medium well but, the flavor was delicious. It was an underwhelming experience. Being a bar tender I would never leave little to no tip. In this case it felt almost impossible to leave a tip at all. So; in short the kitchen impressed but, the service...
