Patrick's Irish Pub — Restaurant in Greeley

Our little group frequented Patrick’s last winter for a couple months and I always talked it up to friends. That was until our last visit. Six of us went out the weekend before last on a Saturday night and were greeted by a friendly bartender right before shift change. We sat at table in the back.

A couple rounds later the closing bartender started. He’s a skinny dude with long hair. He immediately asks if I’m ready to close out my tab, and asks me again, twice more, each time I came up for another beer. It was clear right away that we were inconveniencing him with our presence. I made small talk and he mentioned his co worker had called in so it was just him for the night. I imagine that’s why he was treating us like a burden, because he was busy. Boo hoo.

After a couple rounds of Vegas Bombs he told us he ran out of ingredients. We then asked for a different round of shots and he told us he wasn’t going to make us shots anymore. This is after 2 rounds of shots and a few beers each over the course of 3-4 hours. We were all behaved like adults and weren’t causing any issues.

Obviously we left after that, and that is the first time in my life that I’ve tipped less than 20%. Until dude is gone we won’t be back, which is a real bummer. We went next door to Stella’s instead and were served immediately by bartenders that don’t hate money.

Can’t recommend Patrick’s as it stands today, which blows because there’s no other bar like...

This place is a Greeley staple. It's been here ever since I moved here way back long ago, and it's still here rocking it today. What I love about Patrick's is they continually have the most amazing beer selection on hand that's typically hard to find. Taps are rotating regularly as well. This is where I have finally had the rare and super popular pliney the elder. And also, to my pleasurable surprise, they happened to have pliney the younger that day as well. Don't know how, and I'm not mad. This is why I love this place, they find great stuff, and keep a very good rotation on hand and serve their customers with wonderful staff and a great atmosphere. Really all the things you could ask for from a local pub. Cheers. (UPDATE) Y'all......they have food! I love going to Patrick’s! One of my favorite places to go and have an amazing time with my friends. The crew is super friendly and incredibly hard working, they make sure you are well taken care of even when on rush hour, and they even make it look easy. The drinks are on point and there is something new to try each time I’m there, so I never get bored, last time I was there they recommended an italian margarita and I loved every sip! Ooh, and there is amazing food too in case you get the munchies or wanna share something with your friends, I got this wings the other day, and the cook Giovanni made them extra delicious mixing some of my favorite sauces!
