I recently visited this local sports bar downtown GB 'just one block over' 😏 and had an amazing experience! As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed by a vibrant and lively atmosphere. With tons of big screens playing the latest games and highlights, I could feel the excitement in the air!

The menu offered a variety of delicious and affordable pub food that catered to every taste bud! 🤤 I tried their famous buffalo wings and was blown away by the perfect combination of spicy and tangy flavors. 🤤 Get the (Golden sauce!)

The service was prompt and friendly, with staff always willing to go the extra mile to make you smile. 😁 They made sure our drinks were always topped off and coming around multiple times ask how everythig was and if they could get us anything else...

What I loved most about Burkels 🦬 was the sense of community that I felt, GO PACK GO! The patrons were all passionate sports fans, and the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and inclusive. Being able to watch sports among fellow fans while enjoying a great meal makes for a memorable experience.

Stopped in for a quick visit while passing through this side of town. For a Saturday, the place was surprisingly quiet—and yet, service still felt slow & inattentive. The staff seemed more focused on chatting with regulars & themselves than checking on new faces. The kids sitting at the bar with their parents was a little off-putting too. And by kids, I mean toddlers playing on tablets & little ones sitting in car seats; totally bizarre. Start them young I guess?

The beer selection was decent, when I could actually get one. The overall vibe was textbook sports bar: loud TVs, generic decor, and walls plastered with old jerseys, including a shrine-like section dedicated to Green Bay’s former demigod, Brett Favre.

Nothing really stood out as memorable other than the service or lack there of, and it’s not somewhere I’d make a point to return to. If you’ve been to one sports bar, you’ve been to this one. It feels like it caters more to tourists—probably a decent stop if you’re in town for the draft or just looking for that stereotypical sports bar experience.
