East Town Pub — Restaurant in Green Bay

I have never in 16 years of living in Green Bay experienced such a terrible taste in my mouth after visiting an establishment. Uncomfortable looks upon walking in to having my id literally thrown at me after I handed it to the gentleman. I didn’t know in 2024 racism in Green Bay was still so blatant. Rude service, no conversation or smile to paying customers . Telling us you need a iD to order food. I will not recommend going here unless you are of a certain criteria !!!

Edit: you literally threw my ID which was beyond rude. You also didn’t even start making our order before we left you started getting drinks for the kids and couple that came in a hour after we had already been there. I’ve ordered food out there 30 times and never showed a I’d. You was adamant on my id to not be not difficult. So yes throwing someone’s id at then when they are not your typical patrons...

Roommate loves the wings here, it's more like a beautiful crunchy tempura than a batter. I order a burger or appetizer, always good. The cook is honest and leads you to good options which as a former line cook myself I more than appreciate! He is the kind of staff that keeps us coming back. Atmosphere is spot on for the type of pub and area. I'd actually give it a 4.5 ⭐️ because 5* should not be a default good, but...

It is a beautiful middle class dive bar not describing the people but just the overall environment when you walk in has very nice high ceilings and a great menu hands down it is innovative to include everything on a usual bar menu but with nice variations. The beer is a little expensive but which bar isn't...
