Stopped in for liquor store, stayed for dinner at the bar. Low key, well kept venue. Music played at human levels so conversations could be heard which is a good thing to me. Ordered Beef Chili which was came in a huge bowl and was delicious. Obviously made fresh and the meals order by others around me looked good too. Olivia the barkeep was very friendly, smiling and obviously happy to be working there. She made me feel welcome and comfortable. I went in for a bottle of wine for Thanksgiving. Ended up with 6 bottles of all types of wine. The most genuine guy helped me out. He's a sommelier with over 20 years experience. He introduced me to different wines from all over the world. He wasn't pushy and was very excited about his presentation and discovery of what I enjoyed. I received a 10% discount and I was so pleased. I also wanted to get some cool beer for my brother in law. Another gentleman helped me with that, and was just as nice and professional. This is a pleasant surprise as a wine and liquor shop. So many local places lack depth and variety especially in their wine selections. NJWineSeller has a very good selection of wines from good places. I think chardonnay from Santa Barbara is some of California's best but ours often hard to find. This place has two. Their selection is well defined with good choices that aren't just the obvious popular ones. The fact they have a wine bar and tastings just adds to their overall offerings.
