If you could give zero stars I would. I can't recall when I have had such poor "service". Ordered car side to go to take to friend's house. Check-in with their link and get a can't find our order message. Go inside and finally flag someone down to be told kitchen was just finishing the order (I was not early) and I will go check on it. 20 min later I hunt the restaurant and find the car side person again and get an Oh...hadn't even checked on my order. Comes back to the car side area and says to Gary do you see 541, I can't find it. I say ma'm I 've been standing here for 25 min now since the minute I walked in the door with a bag marked 541 laying on the counter right in front of me. Oh here you go that's your order. No - I'm not taking ice cold french fries, onion rings and cheese sticks. Gary finally says its warm but we can remake it. OK how long will that take, no answer and turns and walks away with the bag of cold food. 15-20 minutes later (I'm now 45 min late to the gathering with the food) they came back out and hand me a bag of food. Oh by the way here is the Sangria (not much of a drinker but tried one on vacation and thought we would share one/taste test). It was literally half a glass - see picture comparing what is posted on their website and what I received. Arrive at my friend's house with the food and are you kidding me they shorted us a kid's grilled cheese so now one kid is getting a homemade grilled cheese thrown in the pan while the rest of us are eating. Oh and why I was chillin in the car side area the same woman takes a phone call that is obviously from a person who was also shorted food, tells them manager will be with them to give them a gift card and puts them on hold. Manager may have picked it up elsewhere but never appeared and the phone literally rang for 15 minutes. Who would want a gift card from this place? If you like your friends do them a favor and buy them a gift card from ANYWHERE...
Read moreMy wife and I went into Lancaster Applebee's 9/22/25 for dinner. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our waitress seemed rushed. We both asked for sweet tea and she brought sweet tea with lemon wedges. I removed the lemon wedges and placed them on a napkin. I asked the waitress if they were offering the football pick 6 boneless wings and she said No but some of the appetizers were ½ price before I could say ok she ran off and grabbed another menu showing a bundle appetizer platter. Was was odd was she placed that menu on top of the lemons on the table. About that time a family of 6 was seated across from us. 4 small children 5 and under with mom and dad. One of the kids asked our waitress if they had crayons she replied no and took thier drink order. She then came to our table. We ordered boneless wings and my wife and I ordered steak and shrimp and the waitress said the 2 side dishes were mashed potatoes and green beans... my wife said ok but I asked about broccoli for a side and was told no we don't have broccoli, so I asked what other sides were available? She said 4 cheese mac and cheese so that's what I ordered. When our food arrived the mac and cheese was decent, my medium steak was slightly overcooked but still edible. My mashed potatoes were cold. My wife said hers were cold also. My wife's steak was slightly under medium but also edible. When our bill came I noticed there was an upcharge for the mac and cheese that the waitress never informed me of. We stopped going to Applebee's when the Air Conditioning went out this summer. I called about a month ago to ask if the AC was working and was told it had been out for 6 weeks with no eta on being fixed. My wife and I eat out 5 to 6 times a week, but I doubt I'll ever return to Applebee's. Not because the food was mediocre but we wernt even given refills on our drinks and no crayons for kids.... that was truly upsetting as a...
Read moreLess than 10 years ago we still went to Applebees very very frequently. Over the past few years, we started going sparsely due to changes in price compared to the amount of food you received. We recently were given a gift card and tried out the wing deal- the price was fair for the food because the wings were super super small- that being said, they were good! We tried every flavor, and we loved all the sauces except the garlic parm, which was pitiful- it seemed like someone melted garlic over the wings and then they tossed a quarter handful of fresh parm cheese into the container, and so the result is a mess and not real sauce. We ordered carside and they were very prompt, and our food was hot!
This next time we did the 2/$25 deal, with mozzarella sticks, the chicken tender plate with fries, and the regular burger with tomato basil soup. We ordered carside and no one came out- we tried to call twice and no one answered. We went inside and our bag was just sitting out, no employees around. Someone finally came out and said they didn’t know what to do because they don’t deal with those orders, then asked us for a tip. We got home and all the food was there, but it was all very cold- actually cold. There was only about 8 fries total, the soup was missing croutons, the burger was a mess in the box and the bun was melted to the top but it was super askew so we had rip it off and that tore a big chunk of the bun off too. The bun was also completely black on the top and bottom :/ The chicken tenders were very good, just small, like most of the food Applebees serves now days.
Also a warning if you’re expecting to do the 2/$25 deal- it’s not actually that price unless you pick from like 3 options. All the other options add...
