Triad Dentistry — Local services in Greensboro

My experience with Triad dentistry started off good but ended terribly. When first calling to see if they accept my insurance, I was told they do not, however, it was said they can treat us and then submit the claim and see if/what we will be reimbursed. Once they that, they will bill us the balance. This sounded perfectly fine, as we have worked with other dental practices that did this in past. We went in and received 5 cleanings, 1 for each member of our family. Then, we were told 2 of our children had minor cavities, my husband had a cracked tooth, and I needed a filling redone. We decided to take care of our children first and put our treatment on hold. I'm so glad we did b/c once they treated our children, we were told we owed over $2100 and that we MUST pay that first before they will submit our claim. For various reasons, we didn't have the $2100 laying around to give them (thank goodness we didn't get our services done. I can't even imagine what they would have charged). They offered to do care credit. We were not interested in financing through care credit for the simple fact we could not afford another monthly payment, not to mention, once we finally paid everything off with Care Credit (over a year to do) would our claim even still be eligible for reimbursement? At this point, we didn't trust the office to give us an accurate answer to that question. Fast forward to today, this office took it upon itself to drain my HSA account. I use this account to pay for counseling services for my children as well as orthodontics for me and two of my children. This office was deceiving from the beginning (and did it with a smile) and then put my family in a difficult position to pay for other healthcare services we need for our children. I have since called my insurance provider and HSA provider to prevent this from happening again, but wanted to make anyone who tries to work with this practice in the same manner, aware of what could potentially happen to them should they proceed to work with this office. Dr. Hatcher has the best dental practice that I have ever seen.

As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, which made me feel more calm and comfortable.

I had concerns about some of my teeth and this was my first visit here.

Everyone involved in my care was kind, attentive, and communicated with me and it was amazing how well they all worked together as a team. It really made for a stress free and calm environment.

The office is equipped with the latest sophisticated technology and Dr. Hatcher and his staff's specialized knowledge is totally amazing. It makes for a huge bonus when it comes to peace of mind as to an accurate diagnosis.

My appointment was not rushed. All of my oral needs and concerns were addressed. Dr. Hatcher went over all of my x-rays with me. My health issues are rather complex and he took my whole medical history into consideration when coming up with a treatment plan. He is looking out for my best interests and he is conservative and doesn't do work that isn't needed.

I didn't have any cavities, but there are some things that I need to do in being proactive as to my oral health. Down the road, I will need two crowns, but I don't dread having them done. Because of some medical issues that affect my oral health, I will be having my teeth cleaned every four months.

He and his team are very professional and kind. I felt like I was valued and didn't feel like a number. My visit felt personalized and comfortable. I have dry eye syndrome and was even offered dark glasses to wear during the visit.

I love this dental practice! I'd give them more than five stars if I could!

I have been a patient of Dr. Hatcher's since 2011. He has done tremendous work to improve both my dental and overall health. My teeth were in very bad shape and he was able to work what seem like miracles that have had very positive impact on my quality of life. Personally he's caring, extremely accessible and open to answering any and all of my questions. Technically and professionally he is far and away the best dentist I have ever had and I have had way more than my fair share of contact with dentists.

Their practice is technically excellent from the office management software systems to the technology used to deliver state of the art dental care. The staff he has assembled is welcoming, friendly, caring and extremely competent.

I can't recommend Dr. Hatcher and his staff highly enough. I don't see how anyone could go wrong entrusting the dental health of themselves and their loved ones to this practice.

My latest experience with Dr. Hatcher's office was for a teeth cleaning appointment just yesterday. My hygienist was Kelly and I have to say it was by far the most pleasant hour I have ever spent in a dentist's office, in fact it was fun. Kelly was all the the things I mentioned earlier about the staff in general, caring, personable, professional extremely competent and well trained plus she has a great sense of humor. Dr. Santiago did my exam after the cleaning and displayed exactly the same qualities I just listed for Kelly. As I said, in total, it was the most pleasant hour I had ever spent in a dentist's office and one of the very few times I could say I had fun.
