My first visit was okay. The workers were quiet as mice and I could barely hear them at times but other than that they were helpful and suggested I try samples of the ice cream to see what I would like. I left satisfied.
The second time not so much.
The workers were different and it was a bit more lively but everyone had been served and no one was in line. I walked up to the counter and was entirely ignored. Three workers this time, pretending to clean or act like I didn’t exist. At first I thought it was my imagination and kept looking at the ice cream, because surely not in 2025 are we still doing this. I had to be mistaken. A minute or so later a gentleman with a child came in after me and also started to look. One of the workers turned to him, greeted him in Arabic and started to serve him! Mind you I am still standing there! No greeting. No acknowledgment. No eye contact. No NOTHING.
The gentleman let him know I was there first and THEN did he finally look my way. There was no way he didn’t see me. My clothing was very bright. I should have left at that point, because no one should spend money where they are clearly not wanted, but my little brother wanted his own ice cream and brownie after trying mine from my previous visit. The interaction went more or less as it should have from that point, but I was over it. A complete 180 from the first time. I had planned on coming back this weekend to try the Dubai strawberry cup, but I refuse to play Russian roulette...
Read moreWent on Saturday afternoon and it was chaotic. Line was long to the outside. After we went inside it was hard to see the flavors because people lined up in front of them. I had to take pictures of the flavor names to decide later. And I know all the ice cream shops behavior, you can't trust online menu because it won't be the same in store.
I got loaders (kind of like a sundae) and chose Chai latte and tiramisu gelato. When I was about to look at the topping menu the lady wanted to take my order so I didn't have time to look. Anyway, the lady took my order and she said there's no Chai latte and I had to quickly look at the flavors again and it made me felt I was rushed. If you don't have that flavor just take the name tag out to not inconvenience customers.
The whole time ordering it felt unpleasant and not customer friendly. The guy at checkout almost double charged me for one scoop because he thought I ordered 3 scoops but I replaced Chai latte for something else because they don't have it.
Ice cream/gelato was good but nothing to write home about. Crush nuts were stale. I've had better gelato somewhere else with cheaper price. The only thing to compliment is it's not too sweet.
Total order was $24 for 2 scoops of ice cream and 1 sundae cup. Will not be back anytime soon unless...
Read moreFirst time coming here after hearing about their opening recently. I was interested in trying the Turkish ice cream but wasn't very impressed as it just tasted like nomarl ice cream, just slightly more creamy and milky. It tasted good, just not how I thought it would be the way they made it sound on the advertisements for the grand opening.
The atmosphere is very nice with amazing air conditioning. we came here on a humid day out, and it felt good inside as everything felt at home and relaxing. We ended up getting two gelettas, which tasted really good and creamy. Nice and refreshing! We also saw plenty of other people ordering things here that were different and unique and looked very tasty indeed.
Prices are a bit too high for my liking being this is like a small bakery alomst but everything is good quality and rich also handmade so you can't really complain in the total outcome.
I would come again...
