I placed an order for a single chicken biscuit today. When I pulled around to pay there were 3-4 employees outside in front of the drive through. That shouldâve been my sign to leave but I didnât. I had my card in hand, there were 2 girls on either side of the window looking not saying hello or trying to take my payment so I waited patiently. One of the guys came in from outside and was now hanging out of the window trying to look at one of the associates that was still outside. I tried to hand him my card and he wasnât paying attention. He then said oh I didnât know you were giving me your card. Then another young lady took the payment. The last person from outside comes in and moments later they hand me my biscuit. On my way back to work I check the biscuit and itâs full of bacon and no chicken. I was pissed because I had to be back at work, I was not feeling well and just needed something to be able to take my medicine. I call the manager and explain, she refunds me but tells me itâs not that serious, itâs just a biscuit and that a lot of people order bacon biscuits. What other people like doesnât have anything to do with me and you donât get to tell me how to feel. It becomes a big deal when my time is wasted, the money was refunded but my time is gone. You inconvenienced me and thatâs why Iâm upset. I was cool the whole time I was there, didnât utter a word about the lack of couth and unprofessionalism because I know what itâs like to work in these establishments. Even if it was a rush I could understand but I was the only one in the drive through.A little bit of empathy and ownership wouldâve...
Read moreIâve been going to this BVL for years up until leaving to go to Florida several years ago. Since moving back to NC, I decided to have breakfast here this morning. BVL used to be big on Customer Service, not now. The young lady who served me at the window as very nice but, she added cheese to my biscuit that I cannot eat. After getting home and discovering this, I drove back to the restaurant to advise and get a biscuit without cheese. Only to be given a lesson by a shift lead or whatever on how cheese âautomaticallyâ comes on the biscuit and âIâ have to âaskâ them to leave the cheese off. I was confused. Bc if I say, âI want a bacon and scrambled egg biscuitâŚâ in essence, I HAVE said âno cheeseâ because I didnât mention cheese. Instead, bc I donât work there and know what âautomaticallyâ comes on their biscuits, what may have been more feasible is for the young lady who took my order to make sure I didnât want the cheese since she would be the one who knew it âautomaticallyâ came on the biscuit. The shift lead or Caucasian woman who assisted me was clear she liked to say her piece and people should simply go along with whatever she says. Once my order was ready, she handed it to me without words as if she was about to walk away, very nasty. And when I asked for my receipt so I could do my reverie, she snatched it off the bag to give it to me. Very nasty. And I may be giving her too much credit calling her the shift lead. I wonât...
Read moreBiscuitville is a southern staple. They have really good food at decent prices. The lunch menu is a little pricey, but is good food. I miss the more extended lunch menu that had more options (including sides). The biggest drawback is the organizational structure of the store itself. The restaurant is small and not set up for the amount of traffic these establishments attract. This a problem with almost all Biscuitvilles. The area where you place your order is the same area where they call for orders to be picked up, which creates traffic jams and confusion. The staff is friendly and helpful, but not always the most organized. Condiments, utensils, and self serve beverages are randomly located in several different spots at the front of the store, causing patrons to have to travel to three different areas inside the store amid a sea of people waiting for food or placing orders. If dining in, it is not always the fastest fast...
