Restaurant Review: Panda Express
Panda Express offers a convenient introduction to American-Chinese cuisine, blending bold flavors with quick service. As a fast-casual dining option, it appeals to those looking for a satisfying and affordable meal on the go.
Food: The menu highlights include the Orange Chicken, a fan favorite with its crispy texture and sweet, tangy glaze. The Beijing Beef is another standout, boasting a perfect balance of savory and slightly spicy notes. For a lighter option, the String Bean Chicken Breast or Grilled Teriyaki Chicken are worth trying. Side dishes like the fried rice and chow mein complement the entrees well, though they can occasionally feel heavy. Seasonal offerings and limited-time dishes add variety to the menu, but consistency can vary between locations.
Service: Service at Panda Express is generally fast and efficient. The staff is friendly and accommodating, especially when customizing orders. Food is served cafeteria-style, so you can see exactly what you're getting, which is helpful for choosing the freshest-looking items.
Ambiance: The atmosphere is modern and clean, though it's more functional than inviting. Seating is typically limited, making it ideal for takeout rather than dining in. The noise level can rise during busy hours, but thatās expected in a quick-service setting.
Highlights:
Quick and convenient dining experience.
Affordable prices with generous portion sizes.
Signature Orange Chicken is a must-try.
Drawbacks: Some dishes can be overly sauced or inconsistent in quality. Additionally, while the menu offers some healthier options, it leans heavily toward indulgent flavors that may not suit everyoneās preferences.
Overall, Panda Express is a reliable choice for a flavorful, fast meal that satisfies cravings for American-Chinese cuisine. While it may not rival traditional Chinese restaurants, it excels in delivering tasty dishes with speed and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is really well done and really cute, I appreciate the cute design and well on tasked workers, they get paid well and are always doing their jobs well on point and where they're supposed to be, they're also really friendly, bubbly, and quick on their toes to get everyone taken without waiting long! The food is fresh and nice and warm, also delicious! I got the classic Orange Chicken and it made me feel good and it made so much flavor burst into my mouth! The soda/drink machines are really freshly put in and cleaned out well at reasonable times like supposed to unlike other places mostly just not cleaning it well throwing it all in or not changing it, also the tea is really good too! The Manager is on point and gets to customers really fast when needed for a question or something else is needed for. My Daughters school Noble Academy orders their food as well for delivery for the kids to enjoy if they purchase food every Thursday! They all love it so much as well as the Teachers.. The Bathrooms both male and women, are really small but also really clean and cute!! The rice is perfect.. I gobbled it all up so fast which also felt good, also not to mention the fact that the Manager named Nykelia is a team player!! She was helping out her workers really well at all times we were here! I would definitely come here again definitely recommend for a quick yummy...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis location is pitiful these days. Pre-pandemic, they had it pretty much going on. Since they started doing too much to people-please once everything opened back up, itās like they constantly mess orders up, theyāre much slower than they ever were before because of trying too many avenues with takeout/pick up shelf services, the inside ordering line and drive-thru. Once you leave the drive-through if thereās an issue that you donāt realize until itās too late to turn around, they never usually answer the phone if you try to call and let them know so it doesnāt ruin other peoples meals. One of the managers has even been rude to a few customers in front of us over 2 different visits, as well as myself one time. We vowed we would not go back to this location, but we opted to tonight. We wonāt be back to this one. I will say the portions were finally decent this time, like they should be and used to be. We cannot wait for North Main to open. I hope it has a complete new staff and everything. By the way- it will be too late by the time this is seen but your Dr Pepper really needs to be switched out, itās awful. 6/1/23 @ 7:43pm
Update: I did get through after 20 minutes and was heard by a helpful staff member who apologized for the wait and the bad drink that will be replaced if I stop...
