Don't think at all that I'm that one grumpy customer that was just being difficult. Not the case. These people are truly running a scam. They don't have a website and when you Google you are offered a menu right there in Google. So naturally I think the prices are correct. NOPE. I ordered my food for 2 and due to covid I had to wait outside for curbside pickup. When he brought me the food he gave me my bill of almost double $40.29 what I had added up on the Google menu $25.55 . When I said something, he double checked my order for accuracy. I was told it was correct so I paid him because he was standing there holding the bags and just waiting. I didn't have time to review an actual menu I just had to pay. So then I double check my math on Googles menu to make sure I wasn't mistaken. And yep I added correctly. I called the store and he tells me that's an old menu left by previous owner from 20 yrs ago or something like that. He says we don't have website, nothing online. I explained their menu was listed on Google he said no that's very old. So I go to the menu on glass outside and add up. I was shocked by the prices. They were way off from the Google menu. So after doing the math and adding .08% sales tax. I was still getting shorted by almost 2 dollars. But at that point I was so upset I just left. It is complete nonsense to think they have had no opportunity to take down the old menu on Google. Google will ask you when you go to list your business on Google. Google contacts you and gives you options on what you will like to have for your info in their search engine. So I know for a fact they could have taken it down but chose not to. That in my opinion (which doesn't mean a lot here) this place is knowingly allowing that to happen and doing nothing about it. He knew exactly what I was calling back for. Its like he had the answers before I even asked them. SCAMMMM BE AWARE. They know you will not be aware of price if your a first time customer. What are you supposed to do? Read moreI have been ordering food from original owner until I find out I saw the original owner in a different Take out Restaurant close by to my house about 1 mile. So I continue to order in China Best when @ work and off work to deliver to house . Since they have a different owner the place just went down to jell. They have Employee's can't understand you and can't spell. Because you had to give the address 3× time over the phone and your card info. It's very irritating. Then when the food arrived either is missing with gravy sauce for your Foo young, Hot oil sauce, Egg roll if orde a lunch special. When you call them back it's takes almost an hour to deliver what's is missing in your order. By the time you get the rest of your food you already getting upset. Because there is no follow from the Owner that it will get there soon or apologize. I have continued ordering food from them because their rhe only delivered in my area. The original owner where he work the new place is not delivered food. The I've ordered yesterday 2/23/2019 was horrible the Shrimp was taste old and favorite Shrimp broccoli looks like it was order from someone and didn't pick it up. 🤔🤔🤔 it was horrible. But of there food are delicious especially there Singapore Noodles. I wish they can do better about who's taken the order over the phone. If the other place will delivered where now the original owner of China Best work. Read moreThis place has really turned into a hit or miss option for us. Lately it's been more of a miss. About 10-15 years ago, we ate from here multiple times a week. Now, it's maybe 3 or 4 times a YEAR! They're obviously still recovering from the pandemic and their food quality and service reflects it. We've walked in and been told there'll be a 45 minute wait. We walked outside, called them on the phone and was told to pick up our newly placed order in 20 minutes. The staff, usually young teenage or early 20s, must be getting fined if they greet you or offer any help. On our last visit, it was so hot inside the restaurant that I chose to wait for my order outside ( and it was 90° outside)! They had several fans pointed at the staff but nothing for the customers. Lately 3 or 4 carrots and 5 tiny pieces of onions are all that's needed to call a dish "vegetable" fried rice. They're literally charging $2.50 for their white sauce and it's not that good. Yes, it comes in a larger bowl than most offer. But there's no way it is worth nearly HALF of the fried rice we bought. We tasted the nearly congealed, heavy mayonaise, and no butter or garlic taste and knew that even giving this mess away for free cost too much! The barbecue rib tips are now more chewy cartilage than actual edible meat. We usually go a few months before we check in to see if anything has changed here because it used to be really good.
