Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Greensboro

Here is my latest of many issues with Jet's on Highwoods. We placed a typical order and after a little over an hour, I called just to verify that things were OK and it was coming soon, as we'd had issues in the past from this location and I have Jet's PTSD. I was told that the order was already out for delivery and should arrive any time. After another 30 minutes, I called again, just to double check. I was then told that the first person I spoke to must've lied to me (the words used by the new person on the phone), that they were backed up without enough drivers, and the order hadn't left the store yet. In fact, some of the order was ready and waiting, but one pizza was still being cooked, and he would be leaving to deliver it himself in a few minutes. After another half an hour (now 2 hrs and 10 mins from order entry) it arrived. The large pizza was cold, and the cinnamon sticks were cold and tough - both had obviously been sitting for quite a while. We've had some bad service from this location before, but never food that was such poor quality. No compensation was given or offered, no attempt to make amends. The guy just said "Sorry, my man" and that was it. I've tried this location so many times, because I typically love Jet's pizza, but my sum total experiences with this location are the worst of any pizza place...

If you want excellent pizza, made EXACTLY how you want it...Jet's Pizza on Highwoods is the only place to go! This pizza is authentic and the toppings are fresh and plentiful.

There was a new management team put in place about a year ago & everything got even better under Mr. Del, so I am not sure about those reviews from a few years ago. Whatever was going on then has more than been corrected and for example during last year's Super Bowl...even though we were expecting a longer than usual wait for our pizza (I mean the Carolina Panthers were playing after all). We end up not waiting long at all and then we were surprised a few weeks later that this Jet's had decided to miraculously give their email list a code for a free pizza!!! They are super fast and provide the most customer-focused team of any restaurant in the area!

P.S. By the way please just focus on the discussion of the pizza for the disgruntled, former employee's Google review below...there is a place to take up his grievance and that is at an employee relations government office EEOC, but interesting he even said the deep dish was the best he's ever had and I quote directly.

My first experience with Jet's Pizza was certainly below average. I don't mind to wait, but 75 minute delivery is a pretty long time in the middle of the week. The pizza was one of the most below-average of any 'fast food' pizza that I've had, far inferior to Pizza Hut / Dominos. The toppings were very few and they were all clustered and not evenly spread. The "triple sauce" I ordered was either ignored or extremely stingy. I think the cajun seasoning for the crust was entirely missed. The pizza was surprisingly greasy considering I did not get pepperoni. The jalapenos had a good taste. The cinnamon sticks were simply bad and also very greasy for some reason. They tasted bland and dry and were the absolute worst cinnamon sticks I've ever had; I cannot recommend them at all. The pricing was a little high, but not outrageous. Overall, I rarely go below a 3-star rating, but I was just so surprised at how below average this entire meal was that I have to give it a 2. At least the items I ordered...
