Long review because it's been a long process and still not over. If reviewing the product I'd give it a 5, but this isn't just about the product. If reviewing the young lady that helped us it would also be a 5. The employees aren't the problem at all. The 3 is becsuse of the 1 star I'd give based on the time it's taken me to get my furniture and the constant changing of when I'm going to get my furniture. I ordered 5 pieces on November 2nd, I currently have 3 pieces. We recieved the first 2, a chair and a couch fiarly quickly. We were told piece 3 a coffee table would be here by Thanksgiving, it was not. We recieved it a few weeks later. Piece 4 a side table was supposed to arrive in January and piece 5 in April. I was told the other recliner was a special order, not sure why but okay April it is. I called in January and was told the side table was delayed and it would be in around the first week of April, not sure the exact date. We dropped by a few weeks ago to check and was told the table would be in shortly, don't remember the exact date because at this point I'm almost not listening. We were told the April arriving chair would now be in sometime the first of May. Okay we will pick them both up at once. My husband calls yesterday and was told the chair was somewhere in the area but not at the store yet and the table yet again is delayed. Should be here in a week or so. They did tell the exact date but again, I'm hearing blah blah blah at this point. All I know is it's been well over 6 months and still have only 3 of my 5 pieces. I understand supply chain issues, but if you don't have it and can't get it in a timly manner, just don't sell it, problem solved. Also want to add that they advertise 6 months same as cash on purchases over a certain amount, but they can't charge you for something you don't have, so the whole spend this much money and no interest kind of dissolves when it takes this long to get your items. I am still not sure if we paid interest or not. the bills have been very confusing with items not being charged until they've arrived, and I've let my husband deal with with. I do know that the last bill said interest was due 6 months is over and we don't have 2 pieces,. Really unhappy with this company and will not be purchasing from them again. ...
Read moreIt was like they didn’t want to make a sale. They say they deliver within a 75 mile radius of their distributor. We live 57 miles from store & distribution, but the sales woman first told us they couldn’t deliver. Then told us because it’s 57 miles away they would void the warranty and wouldn’t be able to do service (if ever needed) on the furniture because we were 57 miles from them. Mind you the radius is SEVENTY FIVE miles. So when you’re going to spend a few thousand dollars in their store they will throw out your warranty because they “can’t” go outside their radius(if purchased we would still be well within that 75 mile radius). Then sales woman Wendy, laughed in our faces and said “so you’re going to haul a sofa all the way back here to have it serviced since you’re not in the radius of service”, (obviously if something was wrong and your staff won’t come repair it, yes, we would haul a couch an hour back to the store to have it repaired, because most people don’t just throw their money in the garbage). They definitely did NOT want to make a sale. Horrible customer service skills. All in all this doesn’t reflect the furniture, this reflects the Greensboro store & staff. It’s sad when you as a salesman don’t know the details of your job. I am sure we are NOT the first to live an hour from the store, so this should be information you’re sure of but, they would have to call tomorrow and make sure it could be delivered. Once again if you know your radius is 75 miles and you can punch in exact addresses (ex: distributor to home) you should be able to deliver the furniture the 57 miles. If you work in sales your job is to make a sale. Overall highly disappointed, if you don’t live within a couple miles of the store don’t worry about going because they won’t deliver or service your furniture & to top it off they will just throw away your warranty after you spend thousands of dollars on your furniture! Best of all the store was having an “everything must go” renovation sale but they still did NOT want to sell anything, must be a very hard job when people want to buy furniture and you say no! Read moreAfter my experience, i would NOT recommend this store. We ordered a bunch of furnitures from kitchen, living room and bedroom, i even included the rugs for living room and 2 dining rooms. We spent quite a bit of money in to this store and in the end i am very disappointed.
After picking out all furnitures that i like, we went through every piece that i would like to buy and all items are there! We paid half of the price as down payment to process the order. Took two weeks before they delivered the items that are available because they only deliver on thursdays. So, we have to make time for them. (Ok - thats fine, i guess. Didn't have a choice) Then we have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for the ones that are not available which i get it because they have to make the furnitures. Emailed back and forth with the sales agent and i listed all the ones that are still coming and responded that "yes they are on the way to maryland" (their distribution center i guess)
Then she emailed us that we have to pay the balance and they are going to deliver the rest of the furnitures. So, we went ahead and pay them in full without hesitation because we TRUSTED them....
Now that we supposed to have ALL items, she's telling me that the most important piece that i coordinate all the colors with was missed and not included.....? And emailed me that they have the chair in store that cost another thousand dollars plus taxes.
Then the other chair for dining is broken and told us that the base for one of our living room chair is not ready yet.... So, we are still waiting for that and the replacement for broken chair. This is after being fully paid!
So, disappointing!!!! One thing is for sure, i am not going to spend another dime in to that store. She apologize for what happened but didnt even ask how they can make it right, maybe because we already paid them full. So, they didnt care....?
This store is not worth the stress and money.
