This is a place I eat at weekly, some times more. Great tasting food, simple but focused menu. If you want a healthy, great tasting, fill-you-up lunch this is a great option for you and your co-workers. The sweat tea is consistently great, the food is delicious and very adequately portioned, and I never leave there feeling hungry anymore. I work hard and eating well is critical to everything that happens after lunch. This is a place that does not make me feel like I am going to go to sleep behind the wheel getting to my next job location. I love this place for being fast, consistent, delicious, and restorative after a hard morning of work. Servers are friendly, attentive, and on point. I would definitely choose a burrito from this Salsarita's over chipotle any day of the week. Note: I see quite a few people giving this place negative reviews for very "subjective" reasons. I want to state that I have never experience rude/rushed service here. I "subjectively" think that you should approach/treat people how you would like to be treated yourself. Now it is hard to find quality employees in ALL industries right now, but you have to remember that, more and more, the people behind the counter are becoming the exception. They are there 'most likely' because they want to be, and due to the "churn" in the hospitality industry, in general, it is hard to get people fully trained to be fast, eloquent, and masterful at putting your order together. ESPECIALLY in these current times. Cut people some slack, and be merciful and kind. It goes a long way. The fact that they showed up to work that day to stand there and take your "orders" is a 'modern miracle'. Now, I KNOW there are always exceptions to what I just said. Incompetence is EVERYWHERE. How YOU react to it, could be the fork in the road for that person wanting to do better at their job or walk out and give up. Be a positive agent for change, and less of a...
Read moreIâve seen many comments about untrained employees. And this I know personally is true. The first day I was there was a Sunday (came in the same day as hired) and was told to just stand and watch. If I did try and help it would be taken and me told once again, to stand back and watch. As youâre working there youâll meet the âteen squadâ which is a bunch of MANAGERS who are 17-18. So they clearly donât know ANYTHING about teamwork, conversation with new employees to make them comfortable, continuously went behind me to change what I had done to in order making it WRONG because âthey know moreâ and thought âsheâs just wrongâ instead of asking the customer themselves (happily pleased with what MYSELF had made for them) and the customer would even have to go and tell them that they are wrong. Not to mention the favorites. This is not a place to work if you have good work ethic, and team playing. Oh, and if you do work there for a while also, youâll notice how differently youâll be treated than other people in the store also. The only people worth talking to is Noah, Adele, George and Emma. Everyone else should be fired. Not to mention when the tortillas are sticking together and your person canât get it off the other, ask for a fresh tortilla bag to be opened. Theyâre past a month old. And the beef isnât cooked...
Read moreOne star is too much. I ordered nachos and had the queso on the side. The restaurant forgot the queso completely. Nothing. None on them, none on the side. My husband drove 25 minutes and when we called to let them know of the mistake they said all they could do is replace them if we brought them back. Thatâs 50 minutes round trip. Thatâs ridiculous to ask a customer to do that. So then their offer was to give us extra queso next time. Not a replacement meal or anything. So Iâm here stuck with nachos that are dry and going in the trash. And my money is gone. There needs to be new management there because my business will be going elsewhere if this is the type of customer service that will be given. Iâm frustrated and disappointed and frankly hungry! I would like someone to address this appropriately asap. And when we asked for the franchise ownerâs name, the manager did not know. I find that to also be...
