If I could give 0 stars I would. Got there at 9:02 and waited 5 minutes to get sat, owner made eye contact with me but didn’t even bother to greet me . Sat down, waitress came shortly after and I told her I would order for my 2 missing people, ordered 3 of the $50 meals, she came back 15 minutes later to ask if I wanted her to put order in or wait, I said “yes please” why would you ask if you should go ahead and put order in if I told you they were on the way and I would go ahead and order that way food would be ready . Also ordered a mixed drink and she said they didn’t have anyone that knew how to make drinks and if it would be ok to get a soft drink, I looked at her confused and she then said she could make it but it may not taste good because she was new. I’m a waitress so I said “it’s ok as long as it has alcohol in it” I was very patient. I later saw someone behind the bar so I went there and saw the Asian man who sat me and I asked if the waitress had to make bar drinks and he said “I don’t speak English” waitress behind the bar overheard me and offered to make my drink and brought it to my table. Few minutes after food came out and we didn’t have gloves, bucket nor utensils to break crab legs. I had to get up again and ask for gloves. We also ordered extra corn and it was not in the bag, ordered garlic and lemon pepper, she brought the garlic on the side which I thought was weird because I’ve never had that happen so I mentioned it to her and I ordered another drink which I never got, she came back twice saying the other waitress was busy and that she would make my second drink in 5 min, finished my food never got my drink, I got up again and went to the bar and asked waitress to make me another drink and to charge me for the drinks so I could tip her. She then told me my waitress was the manager!!! How is she the manager but is asking someone else to make her drinks???? Worst service ever!! Paid over $170 and I had to get up at least 5 times and I was charged for the extra corn that we never got! No wonder they don’t have enough servers. This place needs to be shut down !!!! Got there at 9, it’s almost 11pm and I’m just now leaving, she didn’t even offer a bag to take leftovers, I had to ask. What kind of manager is that?? Forgot to mention she didn’t even bring straws, I had to ask her . I was very patient at the beginning because she did say she was new but how are you new and you’re the manager ? I’m guessing she’s related to the owner because I overheard them communicating with each other perfectly . No excuse for such horrible...
Read moreI arrived here around around 9:45pm on a Friday night. We were told it was a 20 minute wait. It didn’t appear busy as there are ample empty tables.
When we were being seated, the host tried to sit us at a booth next to a table on the middle of the floor when there was open tables elsewhere… There was no need for us to be so close to that middle table.
Joshua was our waiter. We ordered alcoholic drinks and an appetizer. It took us 15 ish minutes to get drinks and hushpuppies. It was about 10:25pm at this point. Honesty, I wasn’t a fan of hushpuppies… they just weren’t the best , in my opinion. As a note, they have onions and something else inside of them.
Two of my friends got the Fresh catch broil bag that was on special. I got popcorn shrimp and fries GA crown peach tea (which was decent). My other friend got the fish and waffle fries.
At 10:35pm, Joshua said he was waiting on the fried food. I told him he could go ahead and bring the rest. (I’m not sure why he didn’t do this in the first place… there was no point in having half of the people’s food getting cold while waiting for the rest…)
A couple minutes later, Josh (waiter) brought my friend’s broils. There were no gloves and they had to ask for the rice. One friend also didn’t have their sausage in their broil. They told the waiter but they didn’t get their sausage until like 20 minutes later. The sausage came in a big bag FULL of juices… it was a ridiculous amount, to be honest.
My and my friend got our fried foods at 10:44pm. It was hot and fresh tho. Waiter, Josh, said he would be back when the sauce. My popcorn shrimp was UNSEASONED!! The “Canjun” fries was more like regular fries. They barely had any seasoning on them…
At 10:54pm, Josh finally came back. I asked for my bbq sauce. I also asked for some Cajun seasoning to put on my fries and shrimp. Josh said that fries are like the “Canjun fries from Popeyes” … lol.
At 10:56pm, I got my bbq sauce and seasoning. By this point, my food was cold. I couldn’t eat it before because it tasted so bland. I did take it to go. I ate it the next day but had to spice it up.
Overall, not the best experience… my beverage had a HUGE piece of ice in it. It was comical. The ceiling has exposed ductwork and wires. That’s nasty, in my opinion. Anything came come from that area and onto people’s food! Im hesitant to return, if I’m...
Read moreMy husband and I attended their media night to sample some of their cajun inspired seafood and enjoyed the fried calamari as an appetizer. It comes with marinara dipping sauce and it came out piping hot, which is always a good thing to know it's fresh.
For the seafood boil (lowcountry boil), I got the 1/2 pound of shrimp and snow crab cluster, which came with corn on the cob and potatoes. I loved the crab and shrimp - both were flavored well and I just love that satisfying feeling of cracking open the crab leg at just the right spot to get ALL the juicy meat out.
My husband tried the spicy sausage and crawfish which he couldn't even finish because it was such a generous portion. The seafood comes out in steamer bags individual to each person, and you untie them and then put the contents on your plate (or eat straight from the bag). All the juices and spices are in the bag and they give you a bucket to put all your shells and trash in as you eat.
You can customize the seasoning and spice level on your seafood as well - I opted for lemon pepper while my husband got the Old Bay and we both requested the medium spice level which we thought was just right. We both like spicy food and it had a decent kick to it, but wasn't over the top.
They provide you with plastic gloves, a bib and wet wipes, all of which we made good use of because it gets quite messy. Don't be afraid to put them on as everyone uses them here and the table has a plastic liner as well so it makes for easy cleanup.
The restaurant has a fun nautical theme with upbeat music and a roomy interior consisting of both booths and tables.
There's plenty of parking for the restaurant and it's an easy to access area off Wendover right by David's Bridal and Staples.
Come check them out starting November 7th and enjoy some delicious seafood (they also have chicken wings and chicken tenders if seafood isn't your thing)! Glad to see this addition...
