They are too expensive. The man was going to ring up my order it was going to be $14, for a sub, drink, and a order of fries. I told him that was to much, he said that they have a pizza sub that's $10.71 including a drink and a fry... so I was like... hmmm, never had a pizza sub before. SO I bought it, hook line and sinker. My opinion of the sub is this... all I tasted was salt, salt, and more salt. SO, I won't ever get a pizza sub every again, furthermore, it didn't even taste like a pizza. But I thought, why not put some ranch on it, so I asked the girl behind the counter for some ranch, she was nice and gave me some. That made it better... but still not to my liking. So, again I went to the counter and asked for some pizza sauce, as this was supposed to be a pizza sub. Well, they gave me about one fluid ounce of pizza sauce which I quickly put on the "pizza sub" after my sub was drowning in pizza sauce it tasted much better... but still way, way, way to much salt. I think they are trying to kill people with salt... Maybe a new branch of...
Read moreIt was okay. Don't get me wrong the sandwiches where beautiful and a nice size for the medium sub. I ordered the Reuben and it lacked in flavor. I've had a lot of them and this one rates last on my list. My brother got the Cheese steak and fries which were over cooked and just bits. And the menu was surprising to say the least. Everything had to be bought separately which was a huge turn off in the hyper inflated economy we are in. This place is for the single or couples without kids. Honestly, for what we paid we could have sat down at Outback or gotten a two for twenty at Red Lobster 🦞. 😂 Guys, you need more specialty items and deals for customers. There were only 5 people in there in an hour. I'm an accountant and from what I witnessed you need to go back to the drawing board on a few things. I don't think I will be returning...
Read moreMy first experience at a Penn Station restaurant has not been the best. I believe it's probably a great spot to grab a quick lunch on the go. However, my lunch was not at all what I'd hoped for. I ordered the monthly special ( The Club) which may have been good if it had been completely drowned in mustard and mayo. So much so that it poured out of the side of the sandwich into puddles on my tray. I couldn't taste anything else above the condiments. My fries were more like crispy crumbs. The only redeeming quality of the whole experience was the service. All were very kind and willing to help. They greeted and smiled at each customer and provided relatively quick service. Just sad the food wasn't on the same level as...
