If I can give them no stars I would. Terrible Terrible Terrible customer service, I placed my order at 8:39 AM on 6/8/2023 and by far the worse customer service experience I’ve had. For starters my order was wrong I asked for the detox island with extra pineapple and mangoes, I got it with extra bananas and mangoes. The girl making the smoothie had red braids and I could see her braids going inside the front roll of food while she reached for the items towards the back, but I ignored all of that and just took my smoothie since it wasn’t too bad with the extra banana. I also ordered a turkey bacon and the girl that was supposed to make the sandwich was taking her time because she was on her phone then when she finally started making the sandwich I noticed her shirt touching my sandwich while she reached towards the back for the items to add the the sandwich, I actually asked them to refund the sandwich because of the time it took and because the girls shirt was on it, I got no type of apology or acknowledgment. When I again asked for the refund the girl with the red braids didn’t even say anything she just went to the cash register and when I asked if she needed the receipt she said no and didn’t even asked if I wanted it back on my card she just gave me cash. I left and called the store asking to speak with the manager, the person that answered sounded like the same girl with red braids(im not 100% sure that it was her) and she said she is the manager, she then proceeded to be very rude to me on the phone when I explained the situation it felt as if she was mocking me and raising her voice she told me she didn’t see the girl’s shirt on my food. Read moreWhen I went in to pickup my to go order, no one greeted me I actually had to speak to both employees (one who was mopping and the other was looking ready to go home behind the counter with a rolled up sweat shirt, athletic head band, rude facial expression and some red braids). In the middle of saying “I’m actually here to pick up a to go order” the employee with the red braids motioned and pointed over to what I assume is the to go area (I’m assuming because there was no signage or helpful employee in that area to assist) it just came off as if she didn’t care what I had to say, and was only focused on going home for the evening. I’m not sure, maybe she worked a bad shift. But it left a very bad taste in my mouth. I worked and managed in customer service for many years and would never even want a guest to feel uncomfortable in any business establishment where they are choosing to spend their money. After she gestured by pointing her finger in the middle of me explaining why I was there, I asked her for her name because I had every intention in letting her hire ups know that they may want to staff the store with a more friendly and good will establishing employee. She was hesitant to give me her name and after several seconds replied “Misha” could be spelled differently I am not sure. After I grabbed my order I quickly left out because I was so uncomfortable, just to realize there were no straws with my order so I went back inside and caught the end of what sounded like some sh*t talking which I 0/0 recommended . Read morecame in and ordered the açaí bowl and a smoothie. When I went to go pay it has the option to tip or not. I chose to not tip. Tipping at places like these is optional. Now, if I were at a sit down restaurant and did NOT tip, then that would just be absolutely wrong. After clicking “no tip” Jenay S. who was checking me out saw on the receipt once it printed that I didn’t tip. He turned and looked at his coworker pointing at the receipt repeatedly saying “no? No? No?” Then he looked at me and back at her saying “no?” I immediately understood his very suggestive behavior as didn’t like the fact I did not tip. So I looked at him and asked “ is it because I didn’t tip?!” I think he was taken back by my response thinking I just wouldn’t say anything and just replied by saying “oh.. no.. it’s something else” I have worked in customer service for YEARS and I knew exactly what he was trying to do, but then when asked he didn’t want to admit to his very unprofessional and inappropriate behavior he had directly in front of my face for me to not say anything. I have my 2 small children with me also and the whole interaction was so uncomfortable and completely uncalled for. I watched him and the other employee make my smoothie and bowl like a hawk. Thinking they would spit in it or do something else to my order. Such a weird situation and I just wanted to get out of there quick as possible. There was no welcoming when I came in just the whole vibe was so bad. This was my first time at this location also but I won’t be coming back here. How about if you expect someone to tip you… go work at la Hacienda right beside this place or even Elizabeth’s pizza.
