Was an employee here for a little over a month and the whole experience was horrible. I was hired and thrown into the drive thru window to do everything myself. Most days I was not given my break which I was entitled to. I was never trained to do anything else but the drive thru window. As an employee, I wanted to learn all that I could and wasnāt given that opportunity. The manager, Markia showed favoritism and talked down to me like I was less then. There was an instance where another employee and I had ended up exchanging words because of the favoritism and the manager Markia continually let this employee antagonize me, instigate me and belittle me and did absolutely nothing except threaten to send me home. We had employees fight and clock out on us before and had to shut the store down for the night because the manager Markia didnāt even know how to make sandwiches. Why would you give a person the authority to be a manager and they donāt even know how to do the basics to train other employees or teach anyone. She refused several times to get in the drive thru window or put someone else in the window so that I could take a break. Her exact words to me were āIām a manager if I have a crew Iām not going in the window.ā But as a manager, you should also be helping the employees and be on the floor cooking or working as well. Most of the other employees were pretty cool and easy to get along with. The best manager there is Keosha!!! Loved working with her. She was so easy going and chill. Made sure she helped out, did her job as a manger as well and made sure her employees were okay and things went smoothly. The atmosphere when she worked was great!!! Labrisha is also another great manager!!!! Her energy is contagious and she knew how to make work fun and enjoyable and we would still get the job done. Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy coworkers came in at 12:30 for lunch we didnāt get our door till about 1pm. I have to admit that they were a little busy but they were extremely incoherent. The one lady who I things was the supervisor seem to have everyone walking on eggshells. I say that because I have came before and it was a little more relaxed and nobody was scared to do their job. Anyway, I ordered the new Cobb Salad and on top of the long wait the the salad I received was not fresh. They took what looked to be an old chicken breast chopped it up a little and put it on my salad. When I took it back up to the front the Supervisor ignored me and continued making orders. So I went to the cashier and stated that the chicken breast was old. She literally looked at me dumbfounded turned to the young lady with dreads and said āshe said itās oldā. The lady with dreads looked at me then just went to the register. No offer to fix the salad just asked me if I paid with cash or card and game me my money back. Now as I have said we came for lunch. My break is over! What a waste of time! If you donāt get customers, then you donāt have a job! At least have the decency to do your job correctly when people are spending...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is rough because I typically like Wendy's but this one is only operating from the drive thru, so the line is always long. They do not use the "park a car" method so your food can be sitting getting cold, while there are 3 cars (no exaggerating) in front WAITING for their food to be done.....
So you will end up having to complain about the quality of your food... And depending on who is there including the manager will give you attitude because you pay for your food to be a certain way just as they would, but it's cold because it sat while they waiting for 3 other orders to be ready...
The inside looks like it's falling apart, the fry station has card board up like most of it is not working, all of the workers are cramped in a small work area.. I am glad it's close to home but I am not sure how they are surviving...
The grill person is suppose to have on a headset so regardless of how WRONG the order was rung up, HE or SHE the Grill Person should be able to hear what you ask for to get it right regardless... Not here....
Look, I'm not saying it's a bad Wendy's, but it definitely has it bad...
