Well, for one (thank heavens), its definitely not as loud as it used to be. Also its brighter and roomier. When you go in, the "bouncer" stamps your parties members hands with a number that is checked again when you leave, for the safety of your child. The playground area/ball pit is gone. Now you can pay a flat fee for time (about $15 an hour if you get a coupon online) and can play unlimited games (and pause your time, too for bathroom breaks or when you eat) or pay for points and play x amount of games. No more carrying around tokens (unless you want) because points and time is loaded to a card (buy the stretchy wristband). They have pretty cool wrist bands, too, they look like watches; costs a bit more. They serve 4 types of beers, Miller Lite, Yeungling, Blue Moon, and Modelo. 12 and 20 ouncers, $4.99 for 12 oz. and $5.99 for 20 oz, Blue Moon and Modelo $1 upcharge. The person who consumes the drink must buy the drink. The tea has lemon flavoring. Varieties of diet and caffeinated/uncaffienated sodas, lemonades, and sports drinks. The pizzas are... weird... now. Thin crust (unless you pay upcharge for stuffed crust) and no matter the size, it's a little burnt. Almost like frozen pizzas you make at home. We spent $35.50 on a medium pizza, 2 drinks, and 45 minutes of unlimited play. We used coupons on the website. We also got a free personal pizza for signing up with their rewards card online and our purchases (excluding alcohol) go to accrue extra rewards for...

He said to her, "I'd like a cheeseburger And I might like a milkshake as well" She said to him, "I can't give you either" He said, "Isn't this Burger Bell?" She said, " Yes it is but we're closed now But we open tomorrow at 10" He said, " I am extremely hungry But I guess I can wait until then" 'Cause you're his cheeseburger His yummy cheeseburger He'll wait for yo-u, yeah He will wait for yo-u Oh, you are his cheeseburger His tasty cheeseburger He'll wait for yo-u Oh, he will wait for you He stayed at the drive-through till sunrise He may have dozed off once or twice When he spotted a billboard for Denny's Bacon and Eggs for half price How could he resist such an offer? He really needed something to munch Cheeseburger please do not get angry (Don't get angry) He'll eat and be back here for lunch 'Cause you're his cheeseburger His precious cheeseburger Be back for yo-u He'll be back for yo-u Won't be so long cheeseburger Oh, lovely cheeseburger Be back for yo-u Oh, he'll be back for you Because he loves you cheeseburger With all his heart And there ain't nothin' gonna tear You tw-o apart And if the world suddenly ran out of cheese He would get down on his hands and knees To see if someone accidentally dropped Some cheese in the dirt And he would wash it off for you Wipe it off for you Clean that dirty cheese off Just for you You are his...

I don't usually write one-star reviews, but the experience my family and I had today was so bizarre that I had to share. We went to Chuck E. Cheese for my daughter's birthday, and from the moment we walked in, one of the employees, a young woman named Mariah, was incredibly rude. She snapped at us when we asked for help and was also super-rude with the family in front of us. We saw her having an attitude with several other people as well, and it was pretty clear she was having a bad day and taking it out on everyone.

I decided to ask for the manager when it happened to us, and let her know what the customer experience was like.

The manager, a woman Mariella, came out and, to my shock, was just as rude. She said, "What's the problem?" in a really aggressive tone and completely dismissed my concerns. All of this was happening right in front of a bunch of other parents and their kids, who were also looking at with wide eyes, shocked at their lack of care.

The whole thing was completely unprofessional and ruined what was supposed to be a fun birthday celebration. It's one thing for one employee to be having a bad day, but when the manager is just as rude and dismissive, it's clear there's a bigger issue with training and management at this location. We ended up just leaving. What a...

I love this place! It's clean, even the restrooms. The food is actually great, including the selection. The ladies who work here are kind and good with the kids. 'Chuck' is patient with the little ones and generously gives out 'ticket splashes' as well as posing for pics with the kiddos. The prizes are attainable via tickets (and 1¢ = 1 ticket if your prince or princess had their little heart set on something... This can make the prize expensive, though there are usually coupons for tickets plus play pass points, as well). There are games for tots as well as bigger kids/teens in areas separated by a row of tables. You and your child get matching blacklight stamps when you enter and are checked before leaving, so it's a bit more secure than any other play place I've been, too. Only two negative things do I have to say: 1) the cups are too thin. I always end up crushing mine in my excitable hands, so I pay to upgrade the cups... I would pay even more if they had mommy-sized upgraded cups, please!!! And 2) the only thing lacking here is rentable lockers, where moms could stash diaper bags and wallets.

The last time I went to Chuck Entertainment Cheese was probably 1999, but that was such a better experience than this week. The twenty first century hit this franchise in all the worst ways. Not a single thing for kids to do other than video games. This is an arcade. The unlimited play option was great. This is the only thing keeping my review two stars. The pizza was just under Little Caesars quality, but much more expensive. It was fine (I rank LC highly), but again, not what it used to be. They replaced the animatronic gang with a single timid costumed person who stood still while everyone sang happy birthday and was then escorted slowly between tables for pictures. Even if this would have been an energetic, sports mascot equivalent it would have been fine, but this was more like Great Granny with a fur head. The staff was fine.

Chuckie Cheese has seriously upped their game. Both this location and Spartnaburg are great places to take your kids. They have games for toddlers to adults and they always work. They have an app that is actually useful, just scan your receipt after paying and get free stuff. The prices are fair, I added a photo that explains them all. You buy by the swipe or by the minutes, I'd suggest minute. You get more for your money and have a hard stop, "We have 30 minutes to play and then we are all done." I would also suggest getting two cards if you like to play too, that way you don't have to share. Also the food is decent and the desserts are killer. Have fun!
